Please share some good things that will happen to you and your family and some bad things that will happen. We all know that traveling on the Oregon Trail was filled with highs and lows!
Please be specific. Tell us which family member is involved and include as many details as you can.
These are my good things. It is my birthday on the trail. Our Oxen are healthy. Bad things. My sister dies. My chiken dies.

There are definitely good and bad things on the Oregon Trail. The good things are that none of my family members are going to die, my little sister Lila will survive from a snake bite and my birthday will be while we are traveling. The bad things are that our pilot is going to die, we get a crazy new pilot who gets us lost and there aren't many kids on my wagon train. I'm loving journaling about my pioneer adventure!
ReplyDeleteWe are going to have a birthday while on the trail. You travel in the month of June and that is my birthday. Our chicken is going to die on our trip. NO EGGS!!

Hi! These are the good things that are going to happen to me on the trail: My birthday will happen while we are on the trail so that is fun! I get to hunt for my first animal while I am at Fort Laramire. The bad things that happen are my dog, Dexter, gets a snake bite but he does not die. We are at the back of the wagon train and we have no food and my sister dies of Cholera. I love journalling in my classroom so I can write about what is going on from my own perspective. I hope your family does good on the trail! BYE!!!
ReplyDeleteSome good things that are going to happen in my journal are: Ma gets a baby, Aunt gets married, later on Ma gets a baby again, & my pioneer birthday will be on the trail. Some bad things that will happen on the trail are: Ma's 1st baby dies of drowning, our pilot gets us lost, one of our oxen dies. Thats all I remember.

Some bad things that will happen to my family: Our wagon tips over in the tough river crossing. our pilot dies. Our goat drowns in Snake River.
ReplyDeleteI love journaling about the Oregon Trail. It is lots of fun because we get to imagin how the pioneers could have gone to Oregon. It is so exciting since we get to time travel. Here are some good things that have or will happen on the trail: my sister survives cholera, I survive a snake bite, we have a new baby, my dog gets married, someone also gets married and I get to be the flower girl, my dog survives an accidental gunshot, we are off to a great start and everyone makes it safely to Oregon, and I make tons of friends along the way. Here are some of the sad things that happened on our journey: our wagon wheel gets broken and our wagon tips over, some of our farm animals pass away. Those are just some of the things that happen along the way. I hope everyone enjoyed their adventure as much as I did!

ReplyDeleteA good thing that happened to my family is that I survive Cholera, at the start of the trail we have good weather, and my dog survives a snake bite. The bad things that happen to my family is that we loose a wheel, bad weather, and a wagon accident. I LOVE THE OREGON TRAIL

ReplyDeleteI am not going to make any one in my family die because I think that it would be to sad. But my baby sister who will be born on the trail, will get cholera. One good thing that will happen on the trail is that my friend Ada who is really Laine will be traveling with me on the Oregon Trail. My baby sister will be born at soada springs and that is why we are naming her Opal because a opal is blue wich is the color of water.

Some good things that happen to me family are a birthday celebration, surviving Cholera and surviving a snake bite. Some bad things are a wagon tips over, my sister drowning and maybe an accidental gun shot. I enjoy journaling.
