I love studying Native Americans! Three things that I learned are: 1) the Shoshone Tribe had many types of homes 2) every family member had a job to do 3) the tribe decorated clothes with beadwork.
I am liking the Naive American unit so far. Here are 3 facts I have learned so far. 1. Shoshone people thought that hitting a child would break their child's spirit. 2. They liked Arts and Crafts!!! 3. They hunted rabbits. I am excited to learn more. ( Poor rabbits )
Native Americans are awesome! Here are some things I learned! 1. The Shoshone believed hitting a child would break its spirit, they also told misbehaving children that they were disappointed and ashamed. It was usually enough to make a child behave. 2. The Shoshone were known for their flower design. 3. The Shoshone wore few clothes during hot summers. Women wore aprons made or deer hide or woven plants. Men dressed in breechcloths made of deer hide or antelope hide. In winter, they both wore rabbit fur robes. I am having so much fun learning about Native Americans!
I am happy to be in the Shoshone tribe! There are many interesting facts. Shoshone people were skilled at beadwork. Every family member had a job. Kids did not go to school. The women gathered food when the men hunted. I am excited to learn more!
