Field Day...a Kinkaid Tradition!
Field Day is a wonderful day! Students and teachers from all three divisions of the school come together to have fun, participate in the events and enjoy the fair.

What is our favorite part of Field Day? What is your favorite Field Day memory? Why do you think that this is an important day for our school community?

i love field day its awesome. My favorite thing is the rides and candy after. I also like the raffle. I think we do it every year is to have fun and rase money.
ReplyDeleteI love Field Day! I really like doing the Goldfish Toss, drawing sticks, watching the races, and hanging out with my friends. I am planning to enter the raffle this year; I have never entered the raffle before. I hope the weather is nice this year. I wonder if the rope is going to break again? I think my favorite Field Day memory is my first race, my first race was in kindergarten. I think Field day is important because it lets people be competitive in a good way. After the races you can find your friends purple or gold and enjoy Field Day.
ReplyDeleteI love Field Day! My favorite part of Field Day is the rides. I think Field Day is cool because you get to compete against your friends. My favorite Field Day memory was when a nocked coach plat into the water tank with a ball. I am so exited about tomorrow! Bye!
ReplyDeleteI love field day! It is the best day of the year. There are rides games and lots of other fun stuff to do. Pre k dose the maypole, kindergarten dose racing, 1st dose banner race, 2nd dose bean bag toss, 3rd dose jumprope, 4th dose sack race, middle school dose relay race and high school dos tug of war. After all the races when every one is tiered there is... the carnavle!:) That is the best part. There are bouncy castles, games, rides and so much moor. My favorite game is the cake walk. I also like some of the booths and rides. The cake walk is a game ware you are on a mini stage with numbers taped to it. You walk around till the music stops and then the person will call out a number if that is your number you are out! One year I did not even know how to play and I won! That was the best year!!!! I have to go now:) see you next week!!!!!!!!!!!:)
ReplyDeleteOne time at my little sister's old school, me and my little sister played the cakewalk at a festival and my little sister won and she picked cupcakes!
DeleteI am super excited because this is my first field day. I am especially looking forward to the carnival. I hope the gold team wins. I am nervous about the third grade field event because I am not very good at jump roping.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part about field day is the carnival. I like the carnival because I like to win prizes and go on the fun rides. My favorite field day memory was when i won a ribbon last year! I got six place I was so proud of my self. I think this is good for our Kinkaid community because we all get together and have fun!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part about Field day is the goldfish toss even though my goldfish usually dies. I don't have a favorite Field day memory. It is important for school because it brings everybody together.
ReplyDeleteI like this year's competition, and I think that there's a 10% chance that I'll get last place. My favorite part is definitely all the games at the end. One of my least favorite things that happened is when it rained last year. But my dad and I still got to go in the photo booth. I think that next year's challenge will be really hard. I think that Field Day is important because the whole school comes together, raises money, and has fun!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about Field Day is the carnival and the races. My favorite Field day race time was two years ago when the rope in tog of war BROKE it was so funny! I like that we are jump roping this year. My sister did it last year and said it was very fun. She is very nevos for sack racing. I hated that last year it got rained out it was so sad. I think that Field Day is important because the school comes together to have a great time and to raise money. I wonder who my high school parade buddy will be? See you guys at school tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI love field day because it's fun, awesome, cool, and exiting in many ways. My favorite part is the dunking booth. (even when I miss) I like tug-o-war the best out of all the sports. See you at FIELD DAY!!!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about field day is the fish and the silly string. My favorite field day memory is when I got 4 fish in the same day. I think field day is important because it's a time to move around and see other people you don't see everyday and to make new friends.

My favorite thing at field day is silly string. My best memory was last year when Houston beat me by 20 feet and I got 6th and he did not get a ribbon. I think it made for kids to have fun together and have FUN! GO GOLD!!!

ReplyDeleteEvery year I get pumped up about all the races! This year we are doing jump roping. And every year I win a fish and thats always fun! I never one first, second or third but, I always have a awesome time!
ReplyDeleteI really like field day it is a time to be with your friends run in the races and just having FUN! Last year it rained so we had to be inside. But it was still a blast. I really like that it is not too competitive that it isn't but just a little bit to make it interesting. GO PURPLE!! I am very nervous but also really glad that it is today. GOOOOO PURPLE!!!
