Tim Tingle, Choctaw Guest!

Tim Tingle had many things to say about what it is REALLY like to be an American Indian!

  2. I was interested to learn that the American Indian tribes view themselves as very different. The idea that tribes are similar is like thinking the people of France are just like the people of Greece because both countries are European.

  3. I was really interested on the fact about CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS it was really interesting! I also liked his cool drum it had really cool designs on it! it was a lot more interesting when he himself told CROSSING BOK CHITTO. I really love Mr. Tim Tingle!!!

  4. I was really interested on how he talked about his stories and how he gave show not tells for example the part when he said "when you drop glass you can't put it back together." I really liked the part when he retold the book Crossing Bok Chitto. He really got me interested in the book it's like he pulleed me into the book . That part really got me interested.

  5. I think that Tim Tingle was an amazing person. I think being Choctaw helped him know thing about Native Americans so, if he were in our class he would have done really well. And since he was Choctaw, he helped us understand more about Native Americans today.

  6. I think he was very interesting and very concerned about people stereo typing Native Americans. He also wrote an artical called Indians shop At Walmart.
    And also it was interesting how his great grandpa walked the trail of tears.
    He said that there's a statue of a Native American leaning over his horse and crying. But he and his friends knew that if a real Narive American sculpted it it
    would be of a Native American looking up to the sky and rejoicing.
