The Thing about Georgie
When Andi Moretti wants to include Russ Wilkins in their dog walking business, Georgie is less than excited.
Three friends together are always challenging!
Do you think Georgie's being a dwarf affects his friendships? If so, in what ways?
First, it is very challenging I definitely agree. Second NO! because you can Never change who you are and people cant judge the way you look for friendship. If I were Georgie I wouldn't care of how I look. It really matters if your kind. Here is an example: Sara and I are different but that doesn't mean we can not be friends. And that is what I think about The Thing About Georgie.
It is very hard because he can't do a lot of things like play an instrument. But that shouldn't affect his friendship with Andi Moretti. You can't judge someone by their size. Georgie can't do everything that Andi can do but that doesn't mean they can't be friends.
It probably affecting the relationship with Andy because Andy can run faster and jump and is stronger so he can hold the bigger dogs. Also he cant put his arm around his head or touch the ground. Andy can play video games better because Georgie doesnt have hand and eye cordnation so that is why I think it is affeting there relationship.
If I were Georgie I wold think that Andi Moretti was bailing on me because I was short and could not do much like reach to my ear or put my arms around my legs. And I would also think he was just pretending to be my friend so I didn't feel bad.
Georgie is a dwarf,Andi Moretti is a normal italian boy. They can`t do the same things at all. Like when Andi wants to play Basket ball or video games Georgie has to sit there and watch Andi plays games.
Yes. I think Georgie being a dwarf affects his friendships because maybe people would think that Georgie is weird. Some people might be unkind and not want to be his friend because he looks different.

It is really cool that Georgie is a dwarf. But it sounds like his best friend Andy likes the new kid Russ better. I wonder if Georgie likes music? He might be kind of sad that he can't go on the rollercoaster.
The thing about Georgie is that he is too worried about people liking his friends more than him because he's a dwarf. But he should know that the way you look and the size you are doesn't matter. It matters how you are in the inside.
