  4. I am so so super happy Laurie Keller is coming to school! I LOVE all her books. She might have become one of my favorite authors. Her books are always so fun to read and so creative. I have read the books Do Unto Otters, Birdy's Smile Book, Scrambled States of America, Scrambled States of America Talent Show, Grandpa Gazillion's Number Yard, Arney The Donut, and a few more and I enjoyed all of them. And if you haven't read some of them or any of them I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. I wish it was already March so I wouldn't have to wait so long. I hope Laurie Keller gets to see our bolten board. I can't wait any longer because I want to find out more about her!

    I WANT TO KNOW...

    What is her favorite food?
    What is her favorite color?
    What is her favorite restaurant?
What does she like to do when she is not writing?
What is her favorite place she has traveled to?
What is her favorite book she has written?
What is her favorite book that she did not write?
Has she ever been to Houston?
What type of land does she like?
( For example mountains and valleys)

  6. I really love Laurie Keller's books because they are all so funny. Laurie Keller has a great sense of humor and somehow manages to squeeze it into her books. My personal favorite is Open Wide Tooth School Inside. I like it because it is really good and funny but it's teaching you about teeth all the while!

  8. First off I love her books. They are so full humor. I like that she puts in stuff that helps you learn but makes it funny. I love how she puts in speech bubbles in the background. Even the cover is funny. My favorite book is Open Wide Tooth School Inside. I can't wait until she comes.

  9. I can't wait until Laurie Keller comes! My two favorite books are Arnie the Doughnut and Do on to Otters. I love Do on to Otters because...
I thought a book about manners was boring but Laurie Keller made it funny I also thought it was clever when she changed the saying do on to others as you would want others to do on to you. I love the book Arnie the Doughnut because...
I was a smart thing to make Arnie talk, it was funny when he didn't know he was going to be eaten and he became a doughnut dog. Another book I forgot to mention was The Scrambled States of America, I liked that book because... It was smart to make the states have eyes!
But I don't just want to know about her books I also want to know about her daily life as a person instead of writer. Things like...
    What is she working on.
    What is her favorite food.
    what is her favorite color
    when is her birthday.
    where does she live.
    does she have kids.
how does she come up with such creative ideas.
    Things like that.
    I can't wait!

  14. All of Larie Keller's books are great.NOTTCE SPOILER ALERT I love the idea in Arnie the Doughnut with the doughnut dog. Also the fact about in The Scrambled States of America where Nevada and Mississippi fall in love. And in The Scrambled States of America Talent Show with Rhode Island lifting Alaska and Wyoming and Tennesee pretending to be Oklahoma with thier shapes. She writes really good books, so I wonder what kind of book she'll write next?

  15. I learned that she was born in Michigan.
I was really surprised how she sold her house and moved to New York.
I also learned that no one was interested in her books at the time but then one day someone offered to publish it. She was so happy.
My favorite books are....Arnie the Doughnut, Grandpa Gazillions Number Yard, and Birdy's Smile Book. They are all really good books.
