  3. I had background knowledge that the first people walked over a land bridge to get to North America from Asia. I was amazed to learn that some Native Americans hollowed out logs to make canoes. I wonder what it would be like to climb a ladder to get to the second floor of a Hopi adobe home.

  4. I was amazed by they trade prisaners.I wonder when they chase the buffalo of the clif how do they get down?They made there own alfabet.

  5. Hi I am so acceded for Native American studies! My new learning is that the Cherokee were the first tribe to have a alphabet. I thought it was cool that there can be 500 to 1,000 people in a tribe! I also thought it was cool that they have 86 symbols in their alphabet! Bye see you tomorrow at school!

  6. I thought it was a wow that they used tar to keep boats together. I wonder what it was like to walk on a land bridge. How did they think of making bow and arrow?

  7. I did not know that the Spanish brought sheep and horses. I also did not know that the Cherokee had two types of houses. It was very interesting that the Native Americans walked on a land bridge from Asia to North America.

  9. I had new learning that the Spaniards brought sheep and horses. I wondered how to play 'Little War'. I didn't know that the Cherokee were the most common.

  10. [?] Is tar heavy and if it is how do they make boat out of it. [?] How do thy get the whale of a the water when it is dead. [!] one tribe dresses up like buffalo and then surrounds the buffalo and on signal the surprise the buffalo and the buffalo runs of a cliff.

  11. I was shocked to hear that the Spanish brought sheep! I had BK about how the natives had to walk a land bridge. I am still wondering if tar is he the heavy??

  12. I wonder how long it tock for the people to walk from Asia to America, did it take years? A wow for me is that is is a long way walk from Asia to America. I did not know the main people in the Southeast were called Cherokee. Why did the Native Americans have little wars in there tribes?

  13. How does it get cold at night and hot at day. And they used tar to make waterproof boats. Are dugout boats big and easy to put stuff in?

  14. I wondered how they made jewelry. And I wonder how it felt when the indians discovered tar. Is tar heavy? I had a wow when I realized that horses and sheep are not native to our country. The spanish brought them!

  17. Its so amazing that the native americans walked all the way from Asia! I was so SHOKED that one of the tribes ate buffalo droppings! I thought it was so cruel that the children and woman had to come on the buffalo hunt. The buffalo hunt is when all the men in that tribe dressed in animal skin to act like animals than at signal they would chase the buffalos off the cliff. In one of the tribes they live in a long houses together. Another tribe they made tiny houses. But I always wondered if the leader had the biggest house.
