  4. This was such a fun unit! Today at pioneer hour, we had the best biscuits! I loved the butter and the beef jerky, too! My favorite part of the Westward Expansion unit was probably the iBook research and widgets! When I showed my parents the iBook, they loved it, and they got all the questions right on the quiz! Joshua'a Journal was super sad. If I could read the journals from back then, I would. Also, I looked at scratch and typed in Oregon Trail game. There were a few remakes that were cool!

  9. My favorite part of the pioneer unit was definitely Making the iBook. I had so much fun studying and learning about the independence Rock. Like did you know that the Independence Rock is 1800 long and 300 something feet wide and 227 ft tall I would never know anything about that if we didn't do the iBook I had so much fun doing the Pioneer. I wish we could do it again.

  11. Pioneer Hour was amazing!
I really liked the "pioneer buffet". The biscuits were so good! I got to put the butter we made and honey on the biscuit. The butter almost tasted like real butter, but it was really creamy and watery. But it still, it tasted delicious!
I kind of liked the beef jerky, but it was a little too sweet for me.
My mom came to Pioneer hour, but my dad was at work. In the end, we just FaceTimed him.
I seriously don't think I have a favorite part of pioneer hour, because all of it was awesome! So, I guess my favorite part was everything.
My favorite part of this unit (besides pioneer hour) was journaling. It was so fun!
I think I could have added more writing to it, but I filled it all up. My mom really liked the journal. She said she was going to take it to a publisher!
I liked reading Joshua's journal and Hattie's journal.
I am sad our Westward Expansion unit is over, but I can't wait to see what we do next!
