  1. My favorite was probably Egypt. I found that it it was fun doing things more that are something we can hold and use for something fun. My favorite out of them all was probably the one where we dug for treasure. I really found it fun to look around and find jewels and other things. (And be an archeologist.) Here is one thing though, International Fair 2019... WAS AWESOME!

  3. I loved traveling to both Egypt and Iceland! In Egypt I had two favorite activities one was the digging for treasures and the second one was the virtual reality of you scuba-diving, I saw some dolphins and a huge rock. In Iceland my favorite activity was going on a boat and looking at some whales. I cant wait for next years international fair!

  4. I absolutely loved International Fair this year! In my opinion, Egypt was more interesting because I've already been to Iceland and Egypt was more interactive. My favorite part of Iceland was the fishing boat. My favorite part of Egypt was the digging part. Something that I learned is that the most expensive spice in Egypt is called saffron.

  6. I have to say Egypt was my favorite. I didn't know that Iceland was known as the land of fire and ice. I thought it was cool how in Egypt we got to be archeologists. I wonder if the two counties ever fought. I had so much fun!

  9. I like Egypt because it is interesting. It had stuff I never knew! I like how they carved sculptures out of waxy stuff. My personal opinion I like the digging like a archaeologist in the sand. Icelandic people like soccer and Coca-Cola.

  10. Iceland and Egypt are both so amazing but my personal favorite was Egypt from the Nile River to the tomb it was a amazing trip. But just because I liked Egypt a lot doesn't mean I didn't like Iceland. It was very cool that we got to see the aurora borealis or as the locals call it the Norther Lights. I really enjoyed seeing my mom in silly puffin costume! I learned a lot and had a lot of fun in both countries.

  11. International Fair was awesome! My personal favorite was Egypt. We dug up ancient artifacts. There was also a Nile River! Now in Iceland we got to go on a boat ride we saw beautiful Northern Lights! The International Fair chairs and volunteers worked so hard! I love International Fair! I learned so much new learning and I am very exited for next years' countries!

  12. It was AMAZING! I taught everyone about geothermal heat in Iceland and how to properly release a fish at the Nile River. I learned about puffins in Iceland and here's a fun fact! Did you know: Puffins are only born once in a lifetime! I wonder why that is. So for example: Kate would be special. A fun fact about Egypt, is that the entire reason that anything s ALIVE, is because of... you guessed it, the Nile River! I wonder how the Nile got there in the first place. Everything was AWESOME! I wonder what the next Ifair is going to be...

  13. Iceland was awesome and Egypt was amazing! It is so hard for me to pick a favorite out of those 2 countries. But if I had to pick a favorite it would Egypt even tho Iceland was cool I loved Egypt just a stud more. I have about 3 NL's about Egypt and Iceland. First lets do Egypt. Number 1 is that the people of Egypt fish with nets. Number 2 is that the people of Egypt have pets. And the last NL of Egypt is that King Tut began to rule at the age of 9, imagine if you could rule Houston when you are or were in Third Grade. And I am going to do a Wonder after every country. My wonder is this, what kind of animals do they have as pets? Now it is Icelands turn. Number 3 is that Iceland has the biggest ice glacier in the world. Number 2 is that sometimes in Iceland when it is night fall, it can still be light outside because of the midnight sun. And last but not least, Iceland is known for Coca Cola. And my wonder about Iceland is have they ever tried sushi or pizza or pasta or fruit loops or even gummy bears. They were both very interesting and fun and I really want to go to both of them so badly. I might be able to go to Iceland with my dad, sister, and my dad's fiancee, Jess. But I do not know about Egypt, my dad said it is very dangerous!

  15. My new wonders are first 6 wonders about Iceland first why would Iceland, Denmark and Norway and Sweden all those northern countries why are they the happiest. Second so if you visit Iceland and forget your bug spray don't go back home to get it as Iceland has no mosquitos even though the following places do Antarctica, Greenland, Nunavut and Alaska have lots of those little beasts. Third many people live in disaster zones like Greece, Italy and California but Iceland has 6 tourists for every 1 person which rolls into the fourth wonder why does Iceland have a tourism boom. Fifth why does Iceland have one of the most beer factories per capita. Sixth E.U. a very good economic alliance and military one too but Iceland still does not participate in it. 5 wonders of Egypt why is Egypt so well known for being the only place that has pyramids in fact Sudan has more pyramids than Egypt. Second Egypt 97 million people really the three most populated states don't have that many people. Third people think of Egypt as a desert country yet it is only 30% desert. Fourth Egypt is Africa 13th largest country but is the third most populated behind Nigeria and Ethiopia. Fifth I wonder if Egypt ever actually existed in 1890 because it did call Sudan Anglo-Egyptian Sudan but at that time the Ottomans took it over. Now what I liked about them I liked them almost equally but what stock out to me as better was Iceland because in Egypt they did not show Cairo but in Iceland they showed Reykjavik, also they showed how the food was made I mean yeah the Egyptian things were cool but cramped in the entrance and did not capture the open stretches of desert but in Iceland they captured the cramped feel with even cooler things. Now my new learning in markets they play games in Egypt. What? Why? Now while writing this I thought of another wonder did something happen that made markets lose money so they had to play games to get money. I don't know, maybe? While sticking with Egypt they go on Facebook the most but probably not as much as my mom does. Now Iceland why do they drink coke they ate healthy food but then fell down the cavity trap. My last fact every town big and small has a geyser pool thingy. But why? They're plenty of facts I missed but I cant fit everything! Oh and I cant forget to mention the parent volunteers that helped me put a picture of both in my mind and taught me all these facts I would never of learned before which is why every school should have an international fair, even if you think you know everything about the countries like I previously thought I did but if listen then you learn all these cool facts.

  16. I enjoyed Egypt and Iceland so much. All the parents and volunteers are so amazing. They make it feel like Egypt and Iceland takes place in school! My favorite parts of Egypt are the sand pit and the Nile River. The sand pit was so fun because you got to dig up ancient treasures. The Nile River was so fun because we got to go fishing and learn how they use-to make paper. Some NL about Egypt is that in the markets they sell food, spices, cloths, toys and games. How you can get the products is Egyptian money, bargaining or trading stuff the seller needs or wants. My favorite parts of Iceland are the big glacier in the entrance, the greenhouse, the waterfall and the loom. I loved the glacier because it really looked like a real glacier. I loved the greenhouse because we got to do a cool experiment where you put your hand on the bottom of a glass with liquid in it. The liquid rises to the top of the glass from the heat of the hand. I loved the waterfall because we got to learn about puffins and how they live. Also one of the volunteers sprayed water on us. I loved the loom because we got to make part of a little blanket. Some NL about Iceland is that Icelandic people love to drink Coca- Cola, puffins live about 40 years, in the winter it gets dark early so you can see the Northern Lights, there are so many waterfalls and a lot of volcanos. They paint the roofs of homes bright colors in Iceland. My wonders about Iceland are what is there known for food? Do they have a special airline? Is there any other big foods or drinks? My wonders about Egypt are do they have a line of stores like HEB or Kroger? Does Egypt have a special food that there Known for? I enjoyed Iceland and Egypt so much!
