  1. I was proud of the way you all shared your ideas with the upper school students. At first I was not sure if we would have enough time to get everyone a job, but we did! I thought it was exciting to see third graders take notes in their learning logs and share what they already knew!

  36. I've learned tons and tons of things about La Salle and I really want to comment about it................ Did you know that La Salle sailed all across the Mississippi River and he also claimed the Mississippi River Basin, for France
people sometimes call him " the father of the Louissiana Territory." La Salle was born in france on November 24, 1643. When he was 23 he set sail to Canada with plans to be an ordinary farmer. It is so cool that he became friends with some Indians and then he learned from their knowledge a great river that lead to sea. He soon became really convinced that this was a great water rout that would lead to Asia and would make with the far east alot eaiser for him and so then he decided that his big journey will be started. I shouldn't tell you all of my story because you should find alot more about him yourself! :)
