Book Fair Buzz!
Book Fair was amazing this year. Please share some book titles that you purchased and why you chose them! Are you enjoying your new books so far. Tell us all about it!
Book Fair was soooooo fun. The book I am reading is called The Genius Files by Dan Gutman I haven't got so far in the book yet but it is still so good. another book that I started to read is called Wired But True Facts 2 (its kind of wired.) another book I got that I hope is good is called A Boy at War by Harry mazer A Novel of Pearl Harbor.
At book fair, I got a book called Giants Beware, Dance Diva Showtime, Audrey, and a Girls Smart Guide to Style. I love book fair. I love to see all of the books and it is so hard to decide which ones to get.
I bought a book named Schooled. I like it because... (1) it is an exciting book (2) you never know what is going to happen I bought a book named Alien on a Rampage. I bought it because... (1) I have read the first book Aliens on Vacation and it was really good. I think the 2nd book will be awesome I got a book called Art2-d2's (1) I have made some origami (2) it has inspired me to make my own origami people and I have made them
At book fair I got the books Riding Freedom, The Doll series, a joke book, and a journal. Book fair was a lot of fun I'm so glad that our school has this opportunity there were so many amazing choises!!!
Riding Freedom is a awesome choice!! I haven't finished it yet, got so far, I can't believe that it's based on a true story!! But I can believe that the book Riding Freedom has won Two Awards!!
I just finished a book called: Dr.Nicholas is Ridiculous! In the series every book has a teacher with a word telling how CRAZY they are. In the book kids half to take a test about american history. Almost all of the kids fail it so that have a chance to re-take it but they don't want to fail again so they get a history teacher but all the teacher does is teach them about toilets and barbies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At Book Fair I got 5 books. I got Cloudy with a Chance of Meat Balls 2, Chocolate Fever, Charlie and the Great Glass eElevator, Middle School My Brother is a Big Fat Liar, Harriet the Spy and a few I Clip book marks. I love book fair so much. I can't wait until next Year so I can get some more really good books!
I thought book fair this year was super fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got the book Perfect Season, it is about a boy named Troy and he has big plans to go to this super good school with an amazing football program. He and his friend Ty hope to be super amazing football players. But Troy's dad spent all of Troy's money/the families on a crime that he thought would work but turned up that the cops are looking for him. So now he is stuck at this super old school called summit that has a terrible football program or they may not even have one. So now Ty and Troy are trying to find a solution so how they can be at the same school.
Oh and I also got the Football Genius, 2 Duck Dynasty books one about Phil and the other about Si and Game Changer. I have not red them but they look good
Book Fair was awesome this year. This comment might be short because my long one disappeared. I got a book called Spy School, Game Changers(Basketball). I got a book about the UT Longhorns. One about Tim Tebow. A book called Big Field (Baseball). And a Mark Kistler drawing book. I got this book mark that can time you read and has a light on it. I got a book holder that holds your book up in place so you don't need to hold it. Book Fair is awesome. I hope it will be good next year.
I started reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid Hard Luck. It's really good. I like it because it's hilarious. Rowley has a girlfriend so Greg is left with nobody. Now Rowley's girlfriend, Abigail, is convincing Rowley to act mature which isn't Rowley's personality. I can't wait to read more!
I got a wonderful book called Ivy and Bean ' Makes the rules '. I don't know what it's about, but I do know it's great! I got another book called 'Dork Diaries' a tale from a not - so - talented pop star .It's about a girl [A.K.A Nikki] who rights her secrets in her diary, and is a dork. A mean girl [A.KA. Mackenze] alway's tease's her about how she rights in a diary, and is always modest in a bad kind of way. I got another book called ' showoff '. I saw the movie swindle. Swindle is the first book in the series show off is the next book in the series. I have a pretty good idea on what it's about, but just to make sure, I'll type down the back of the book. Griffen bing and his friends are bacck and this time, things have gone to the dogs! After former attack dog Luther geos berserk at a dog show, he's accused of ruining the career of the three time national champion.Griffen has always wondered whether you could teach such a vicious dog new tricks! I can't say the rest I'm out of time! I'll continue the post tommorrow. See you tommorrow at MRSPAPADKES'HIDEAWAY!!!
At Book Fair I got three books: The Surprise Attack Of Jabba The Puppet, Infinity Ring book one and Fire Stone Lacrosse. I am reading the Jabba book first. I picked it because I love the series. I love lacrosse so I picked Fire Stone Lacrosse, and Gardner showed it to me. I read the back of Infinity Ring and thought it looked good so I picked it. I loved Book Fair this year because there were lots of new books and series that are topics that I love. I have not finished any of my books yet but I love them already!
I got The Kid Who Became President. I got it because I read The Kid who Ran for President and this is the second one. I also got Three Times Lucky. I got it Because on the back it sounded good.
I got the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid Hard Luck #8 because I've read all the other books in the series one way or another. These are some of the ways I've read or listen to them. Listen on my mom's phone, and all of the other books I've ether borrowed to read, or buy them at Barnes and Nobles. I've always LOVED Jeff Kinney's series Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Greg, the main character in the book has an older brother named Rodrick. Rodrick gets Greg into trouble a lot. Greg also has a little brother named Manny. Manny is a trouble maker. In one book, Manny has imaginary friends, and once Manny went to the grocery store with his mom, and when they got home, Manny had a melt down because he said they had left Johnny Cheddar, one of his imaginary friends in the frozen food section at the grocery store! That night at dinner, their mom let Manny have an extra cookie! Greg also thinks Manny's imaginary friends are silly because he sometimes has to wait for Manny's imaginary friends to go to the restroom!! In the book Hard Luck, Rowley, Greg's best friend gets a girl friend!! Greg's thought that Rowley would be the last person in the world to get a girl friend!! By when Greg tries to make new friends, it back fires on him. Instead of getting a new friend, Greg turns out making an annoying boy Fregley be the most popular boy in school!! The whole reason Fregley's popular, was because at lunch one day, Fregley starting chewing gum with his belly button!! All of the boys gathered around and were eager to find out what else Fregley could chew with his belly button. The table got soooo crowded that soon there wasn't even any room for Greg!!! I love the series because Greg always ends up in a silly laugh out loud situation!! All of the characters have a since of humor!! I also got the books Emily Windsnap and the Land of the Midnight Sun, the Bluebonnet nomuine
