Georgina keeps having to push down a tapping inside of herself. That tapping is her conscience telling her that she has done something bad.

ReplyDeleteI think that Georgina is hurting Carmella because she's crying day and night, hoping that nothing bad has happened to Willy. I would be worrying as much as she is if I were Carmella. Georgina thought that Willy would be the perfect dog to steal just because of the size of Carmella's house, and because Carmella's last name was on the street sign. But you still have to be careful choosing the right house. I know Georgina wanted to steal a dog who's owner or owners love their dog so much that their owner will pay money to get the dog back, but you also don't want to steal a dog from someone who loves their dog so much that they're are so worried about their dog that they stay home from work and sob!! Carmella is a really nice person. I think that if Georgina had known more about Carmella, she would have stolen a dog from someone else. Georgina should have looked into Carmella and find out more about her before she stole Willy. I also think that Georgina found out that stealing a dog is harder than she thought because in the book, when they stole the dog, it was hard for Georgina and Toby to not tell anybody. Whenever I have a secret, I always have a feeling bubbling up inside me trying to get me to say it. It hard to not say it and not look guilty. Thank goodness Toby remembered that Willy needed food and water!! Willy would probably die if Toby hadn't thought of that! There are thousands of other thing Georgina could have done to raise money to help her three people family like walking dogs, a bake sale, selling crafts with Luanne, and lots more. There's no reason to steal a dog if you have plenty of other options to make money from. Georgina has hurt many people in her plan. I hope she can make up for it in the end!!

I think that Georgina's actions are hurting Carmella because she is very lonely and all she has is her dog Willy. I think that the junky old house is the farm that Carmella was talking about because earlier in the book it said that Toby and Georgina ran across a highway to get to the junky old house. I think that when Carmella is looking around for her dog Willy she is going to see Georgina and Toby at that old junky house and she will know that Georgina and Toby stole Willy just for the money.

I think she is hurting Willy because Georgina is not providing the right food for him, not a good place to stay and a place to run around and I think that Georgina is hurting Toby because she is making lie to Carmella and hurting her feelings a lot.

And she Is hurting Willie because she is not giving him a proper house to live in, but I think she is trying her best to love on Willie. I think the farm Carmella was talking about was the farm that they are keeping Willie at. And she going to see Toby and Georgina walking to give Willie his food.

ReplyDeleteGeorgina is hurting herself and Carmella. Because Willie is all Carmella has exept for an old house and a $50.And it's hurting Georgina because IT'S THE WRONG THING to do why would you steel a dog. It's a book and I'm pretty sure it will have a happy ending!

YES!!! To every thing! Especially when you quoted " Is Georgina hurting her self? ". Georgina is really starting think that simple plan, is actually not that simple. Now that she knows the real truth about Carmella . . . well lets just say the plan was flushed. My prediction is that Georgina is going to throw a tantrum and the thump inside her will burst into stars and she will admit to Carmella about willy and give him back, but then she will see how much willy likes Georgina and Toby and either let them live with her or realize they need willy more than she does. To answer your questions yes I think she definitely hurt Carmella's feelings! It may be hurting willy's heart):!! I'm not so sure about toby because

Georgina is making herself miserable by doing something bad. In this case, she decided to steal. Georgina is hurting Carmella by stealing something just for the money. If I were in Georgina's situation, I would never steal something even if I wanted the money as bad as Georgina. She is also hurting Willy (Even if he might not know the difference) Georgina is taking Willy away from his home. If I were Willy I would SO MAD! I would be horrified to. I can't wait to read more of How to Steal a Dog!

She is hurting Willy at this point even though she has given him food she has not given him a good environment. She should of realized that it is not as easy as it is on a piece of paper. She is making Carmella lonely, miserable, and sad. I would of learned more about her before taking action.
ReplyDeleteI would not steal a dog first of all and Georgina was a HORRIBLE influence to Toby and I would not leave a dog in a torn down, old, rotten, house EVER especially just to get the reward money I would feel VERY sorry when I got the reward money I would give it back and say I'm so so sorry Carmella. I can picture in my head what Willy looks like.

DeleteI think Georgina did the wrong thing and now she wishes she didn't steal Willy. I think Georgina is being rude to Toby because she is yelling at him and Toby actually thought of some good ideas like about the water for Willy. Georgina is not taking good care of Willy because he doesn't have good shelter and doesn't get food and water when he needs it. Carmella is really upset about her dog being stolen. Everybody is hurt by Georgina's bad decision.
ReplyDeleteI think Goergina did a bad thing by stealing Willy. I think she regrets that. I do think she id being mean to Toby because she has been yelling at him and even called him idiot. Toby actually did come up with some good ideas like giving Willy water. Goergina is not taking care of Willy and not loving Willy. She really hurt Carmela's feelings. Carmela really loved Willy.
ReplyDeleteI think that Georgina was only thinking of herself when she stole Willie. Carmella must be felling sad that Willie is lost, because Willie is her only friend. I think Georgina is hurting herself and Willie. Willie is probably in danger of dangerous animals and strangers. I think Toby is wanting to tell his mom. I think Carmella is hurt the most because Carmella LOVED Willie. I hate the idea of stealing a dog.
