  9. Ralph Fletcher is a very funny author I liked how he explained his brother Tom, that would be very boooooooooring sitting under a kitchen table. And how he went to the park and he played the statue game with his mom and dad. There was one memorable line that really stuck out to me, he said "There is one thing that will never be published ever" his writers notebook. I really like his story idea for midnight snack it sounds like a really interesting story to me.I think Ralph Fletcher was the most kid friendly and funniest author we have had so far this year. I also liked his book The Sand Man it was very detailed and had great illustrations. And he had great poetry.

  15. I like how Ralph Fletcher writes about what he knows best. I can't believe he was the the oldest of NINE children. That is a ton of children. Their parents must have had to work sooooooo hard. I think midnight snack would be a great book and have a lot of action in it. I loved Ralph Fletcher because he was soooooooooooo good at talking to children and had a great personality . I think his stories about Tom under the table where so funny. I would be bored if I had to sit under the table for that long. All of his books where really good. I had a connection to the book sandman because in the movie RISE OF THE GUARDIANS Sandman was one of the guardians. I think it is cool how he got the idea from his personal life and turned his awesome story into a awesome book. I haven't read the book spider boy but it sounds pretty interesting. I love how Kinkaid is able to ask visiting authors to come to our school. Ralph Fletcher was awesome, funny, and very good with kids.
