Please share your thoughts on "E" reading. What is your favorite text to read? Do you love to read books on Follett Shelf? Do you love the True Flix books?
Which do you really prefer "E" reading or paper book reading?
As you all know, I read most of my books on my iPad and on my phone using an iBook app. I do read paper books. The paper books that I read are my old favorites or books that people give me as gifts or recommendations. At first I didn't like reading on electronic devices because it just felt strange. Then, after some time, I just got used to it. I LOVE making the background of my iPad black, turning all the lights off and reading in the total darkness in bed. It is super cozy. I look forward to my in bed reading time each night. When I am tired, I just close my iPad and fall asleep! I also LOVE highlighting memorable lines as I read fiction books. It is fun to look back at books that I have read and just read the highlighted text!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy paper books better because I think paper books have better stories. Paper books are sometimes cheaper and easy to share. I like paper books because they aren't quite as fragile.
DeleteI love E reading I think it is easier to move around and I like to not turn pages. I like true flix the most. But I still like all of them. 3-P ROCKS!

I actually like 3 of them. I like True Flix, Book Flix
and Kids info bits. I finish a lot faster with paper
books. I just finished "The One and Only Ivan" for
the second time it is one of my favorite books.
I love E reading but I really love paper reading!
P.S. I am feeling a lot better! Hope I can come
to the field trip tomorrow!!!

DeleteI can't decide, but I love E reading because you don't have to go to the library, find a book you like ( there are so many great choices!), check it out, and return it on time. With E reading, ally have to do is tap a few buttons and then you have it! Right now at school, I am reading Liar and Spy. And at home, I am reading The One and Only Ivan. And it has ALOT of memorable lines! I don't ever read on a device because I like reading paper books, too! And once I get into a book, I just can't stop! {:)}

DeleteI love E reading I also love paper reading . But I prefer E reading because E reading you just have to click on the screen to turn the page but on a paper book you to hold the book pick up the page than flip it over and e reading you can change the words to be white or black.Also in E reading you can change it to be dark or bright.But some times I love paper reading
ReplyDeleteI think E reading is AWESOME!!! Because when ever I want to take a break it is my turn with a iPad. I think it is fair and cool to use iPads! My favorite subject is True flix or Book flix. See you tomorrow :)

ReplyDeleteI love 'E' reading! But if someone took away my paper books I would be devastated! Although I love paper reading iPads can have more abilities sometimes. I also agree with Sam because when you cut trees to make paper it gives us less oxygen. Also iPads can sometimes make stuff easier. Have an AWESOME time! See you tomorrow! :)

ReplyDeleteI like both.I think we should do what we are doing now and take terns doing iPad or computer.I like paper books but it good to take a brake sometimes.
ReplyDeleteHere is a reason I like paper books........There are more of the and it is fun to imagine the story in your mind.
Here is something I like about E reading..............When you drop it you do not lose your page and it is fun to watch the screen.
p.s I love bookflix I even watch it at home!

ReplyDeleteI like to read paper the best. But I still like online reading. I like doing the ipad rotations. I a speitioly like bookflix. It is fun! I love doing trueflix and folletshelf. I can't wait to do more reading!
ReplyDeleteI like E books more than paper books because...They don't use paper. Because if you use paper that means cutting down trees and we need trees to breathe so the more paper books we make the less trees we have to breathe. And soon there's going to be no trees in the forest and cities and were going to be forced to cut trees down in reservations and national parks and you do not want that to happen. See you tomorrow.
