It was wonderful to hear about your Christmas, Hanukkah and NewYear celebrations! Some of you might want to continue sharing about some special surprises! Also, feel free to share some New Year's Resolutions for 2015. It is going to be a wonderful year!
As you all know, I received an immersion blender for Christmas. Tonight I am going to try a recipe for Curry Lentil Soup. It really sounds delicious! As for my New Year's Resolutions, I have a short list. First, I am going to try to write my niece Leah a special email each month. She is a junior in high school We are close and her living in Chicago can be difficult for us! These emails can help us stay connected. My second resolution is to finish decorating my home office. That project is super fun for me. I love to find new cute furniture to make my home more inviting. Lastly, I want to travel a new destination in 2015. Sometimes it is easy to return to favorite places for vacation, but sometime it is nice to try a new location. I think 2015 will be an exciting and fun year!
ReplyDeleteThis winter break I stayed in town. For hanukkah I got a chair that hangs from the ceiling. I stayed up till 12:00 on new years. I also celebrated my Dad's BIRTHDAY! (but today is his real b-day.) I had a few friends over and hung out. 3-P ROCKS!
ReplyDeleteI slept in my sister's room from the day before Christmas Eve until the day after Christmas. I had my paternal grandmother here from Tennessee. And my maternal grandparents were here from Louisiana. One of our family traditions is to have a peppermint candy pig in a bag with a hammer. We say what we're thankful for. Then, hammer it hard! Each person has a piece of the broken pig. One of my New Year's resolutions is to become better at math and that's what I think Ms. P will help us with.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone! This Christmas I got a candy cane filled with M&Ms, a remote controlled car that can brake dance, 3 huge packs of clay, a can of snow, snowman duct tape, and A LOT more! My New Years resolutions are to practice guitar & to get really good at it, to sell over 300 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, and to be very happy! (even more than 2014) 3-P ROCKS!!! :)

ReplyDeleteWinter break was awesome! The best day was Christmas Eve. Every year, my Mom always says that all she wants for Christmas is for everybody in my family to go to the Candlelight service at church. She got her wish again, and this year we went to my Papaw's church. We are Lutheran. It is always so beautiful and peaceful to see all of the candles lit. I think that's why we put candles on our birthday cakes. You know, we light candles at Christmas for Jesus and we light candles on our cakes just like we do for Jesus. The next best day was January 1st. My Dad and Uncle Steve always buy TONS of fireworks. The biggest firework was mine, the Cherry Bomb!
ReplyDeleteWinter break was so fun! I stayed in Houston. Or so I thought. On Christmas my grandparents and Aunt Polly came over. For their present they made us do a word puzzle to find out. It said THANK ROSIE FOR DISNEYLAND.And then my Aunt Polly told us, " You're not only going to Disneyland, You're also going to the Santa Monica Pier and San Diego. And your cousins are coming." So the day after Christmas at 5:30 we got on a plane to go to L.A. From LAX we drove to the Santa Monica Pier. It was so fun! I went on some really fun rides there. It was also a really pretty beach. The the next two days we went to Disneyland. We went on tons of fun rides. We also met disney characters. And we saw two Disney parades. It was REALLY FUN! Then we went to San Diego. We went to the San Diego Zoo. We saw lots of cool creatures there. Then the trip was over. But I got a journal and I'm going to write all about my trip! My New Years Resolution was to be a better brother. See you tomorrow!
