  2. I loved learning about South Korea and Denmark. But I liked learning about Denmark more. Can you believe that dinner is the main meal of the day. And that they learned to speak English and sweeten. The original Lego land was created in Denmark. The maker of Legos was also from Denmark. And author of children's fairytales that includes The Little Mermaid, princes and the Pea, and Thumbelina is from Denmark. The favorite sports are football (soccer), swimming biking, sailing and running. Denmark is also made up of more than four hundred islands. there is many more facts about Denmark but I do not want you to learn to much from me. So see you tomorrow:)

  3. Denmark and south Korea are the same but really different! For example they are both peninsulas. But unlike Denmark South Korea everyone (or almost everyone) is crammed into small apartments. I can not wait until international fair!

  11. When we started studying about Denmark, I knew it was in Europe and the first Lego Land was there. I also knew it was north of Germany. I had a lot of wonders. A few of them are: what was the weather like- that got answered.
What type of government- that also got answered. And one more-- what sports do the people in Denmark like to play? That was also answered. I learned a lot of things. They play a lot of soccer, the capital is Copenhagen, and most of the people are Lutheran. Denmark is very flat with small lakes. What I already knew about South Korea was: It was in Asia, there are guards on the border between North and South Korea, and most of the people have no religion. 33 % are Christian. What I wondered was: What sports do they play? That did not get answered. Also, what type of government do they have? That did get answered. Lastly, what do they eat? I learned a lot of things. Seoul is the capital. Most Korean people were born there, and the country is a peninsula. Korea has several thousand lands. Sometimes, Korea has rain storms called monsoons. They value family. South Korea has a constitution and they can vote when they turn 19. The president lives in the blue house. When you graduate college, you spend two years in the military. It is not a choice. That's not all I know, but it is some of it.

South Korea is surrounded by several thousands of islands. Jeju is the largest island out of all of them. There are lots of mountains and lots of flat lands. They have a four season climate. The kids value and listen to their parents and family. They have a President and a Prime Minister. Bye

  13. I did not know that Denmark people are mostly lutheran Christens. I also did not know that South Korea had several thousand small islands. Both of the countries have many islands around them. They are alike because they have lots of islands. They are different because Denmark people are more Christen. South Korea has over 40% of the population of no religion.

  14. I think Denmark and South Korea are both extremely interesting. I learned that instead of a white house there is a blue house called that because of it's blue tiled roof, Mount Hallasan is an extinct volcano and they have a president just like us. Denmark is similar to South Korea because the main land is mainly peninsulas. They are different because Denmark has a monarchy and South Korea has a democracy. Legos were originally made in Billund, Denmark, Denmark eats lots of meat and there is a good work and family life balance. I am so exited to "visit" the countries at International Fair!
