Future Transportation!

In the Launch Pad, we created new transportation vehicles in groups of three! Please describe the vehicle you created. What are its special features? Does it travel on land, in the air or on/under water?

Also, you may share any setbacks you had while you were creating. Did you have to be resilient? Was anyone optimistic in the process or flexible?

  1. My group created a briefplane. The briefplane is basically a briefcase with wings.
The wings fold up on the briefplane. It flies in the air. At first we were going to
make a bikeplane but then we couldn't make a bike. Then we made a briefplane .

  2. You all were so flexible. After you had a hard time making a bike, you tried another idea! I really like how you used capital letters and ending marks. It looks like you reread your post before you published! Great job, Kayla!

  3. Our project is called The Warmon. My group is Aiden and Warner. We were trying to make a flying pokeball. We had a few ups and downs. One of my downs was that there were too many things (like paper wings and pipe cleaners) on the pokeball which made it too hard to fly. We had to decide what we could keep on the ball and what we could take off. We were optimistic that we would find a way to make it fly. We took off two of the paper wings and one of the pipe cleaners. It flew a lot better. Our pokeball was very very small! It was only about ten inches. It looks very cool and I think it will be really flying by friday. It was fun making it and everyone had lots of great ideas. The ball had special features. It has a wall of phones on the inside of the ball so that you can play pokemon go while you are flying. It can fly, go on water, go in space and on land. On the other sides are guns if you need them since it is for the army. I hope you like our Warmon.

  5. My group invented a car, plane and boat, all in one. For the boat part we did a pop out inflatable boat that will help you continue your journey. The plane part is to help you in evacuations. I enjoyed making this project with my group. I am proud of my group.

  6. We built a vehicle that can go underwater and drive on water. It can fly and it can drive on land. We were all flexible. We all wanted our vehicle ideas. We were flexible because we used everyones ideas not just one persons.

  10. I worked with Jack and Christian. We made a car/boat/plane! It is supposed to move on flood waters when it floods. We have a flotation device that pops out to do this. It has propellers so it can fly. On our model we have the propellers but we don't use them often because it might break. It also has wheels so it can move on land. They are pink. We had to be resilient when our car/boat/plane was not looking good. We had to add duct tape and other stuff so it would look prettier. THE LAUNCH PAD IS AWESOME!!!

  14. Andrew Aron and I created a Pokemon plane that carries all of the Pokemon to different places in the world. Our idea came from the new app Pokemon Go which is very popular right now. We had some set backs like when the wings would fall off. Andrew and I were resilient and kept trying to make it work. Some features of the plane are it can fly 1,000,000,000 mph. The plan can also go straight up then move forward . The plane’s wings fold up for easy storage.

  15. Our group made a paper platypus that flies like a paper airplaine. His name was Sharpie. We got the idea when we saw people talking about being neighbors. How does Sharpie work? Well first you tape on whatever you want, you hold it from the bottom. You want to throw it straight but make your arm a little curved so it flies better after she/he gets it
back or give some thing to you and throw it back. Even thoe our group had a struggle of time we made it work.

  16. Leah, Kayla and me tried to build a bike that turned into a briefcase. It did not work very well because it was hard to build a bike out of toothpicks. Our picture was strange because the bike was not put together, but we had fun trying!
