  3. I loved reading my books to Isabelle. She picked Pet's Big Lunch. She was not as shy as I thought she would be. She spoke perfect English and a little bit of Spanish. I thought it was funny that we worked on all of our Spanish but the class that we got spoke English. I forgot all my Spanish. OOPS!!

  4. Hi. I loved going to Panda Path. I thought it was very interesting that on the street that Panda Path is on there are 6000 people. That is more than the number of people in TWO TOWNS not too far from Panda Path My buddies names were Geoffrey and Dillon. I read them the books: If You Give A Mouse A Cookie, Scaredy Squirrel has a Birthday Party, There is a Fly Guy in my Soup, and Secret Pizza Party. . I thought it was pretty funny that we learned so much Spanish during the visit, but the funny thing is that both my buddies spoke English. My buddies were very polite and I asked them what holidays they celebrated and they both celebrate Christmas just like me. When we were reading If You Give A Mouse A Cookie, I stopped every few pages and asked them to find the mouse. They were really good at it! Dillion picked Secret Pizza Party to take home and Geoffrey picked Scaredy Squirrel has a Birthday Party. I really enjoyed going to Panda Path and I liked making two new friends.

  6. I loved visiting Panda Path because I enjoy reading to young children. My buddy's name was Adrian. I could not understand Adrian but I had a nice time with him. I read Pete The Cat books and gave Adrian all four books. The director explained to us that their life is very different than my life but also the same in so many ways. I had a great time at Panda Path!

  7. When we went to Panda Path I had a lot of fun! I had two buddies but I do not remember their names. I brought three books. The first one was called Bully. The second one was called we love trucks. The last one was called curious George takes a train. My buddies were very quiet. When it was time for them to pick out the books that they wanted to take home they were fighting over the book Bully. But in the end the first buddy took we love trucks and the second buddy took bully. I had a really fun time! On the bus ride there I sat with Laine and on the bus ride back I sat with Unasia. I really enjoyed seeing the boys and girls club. I wish we got to go to Panda Path in fourth grade. In the boys and girls we read with our buddies. We read to them in the game room. There was a big tv and a small tv they also had a foosball table, air hokey table and a ping pong table. When we first got there we went into the gym they talked about the kids at Panda Path and I even learned that the population on the street where Panda Path is is more than two cities in Texas! I wonder how big Houston is if one street is that big.

My favorite part was when we started playing Hide and Seek with the card we got to ask some questions to them in Spanish but my buddy spoke English so I did not need it. I thought it was really interesting that there are over 6000 people living one 1 street! thats more then 2 towns. I had a great time at Panda Path!

  12. I had a wonderful time at Panda path. I feel like it was a great experience to help people in need. My buddy's name was Ethan. He had such a sweet heart. I read to him "Pete the Cat too cool for school", "Biscuit goes to school", "Biscuit wins a prize", and "Henry Goes traffic jam". He picked "Pete the Cat to cool for school". He lives with his brother, mom, and dad. He said his brother inspired him the most, His dad is very strong and worked hard, and his mom was very caring. He wants to be a builder and a hard worker when he grows up. He was so funny and he cracked me up when he was talking about cats, "The Cat in the Hat", and ant man. He said he had one dog and he said he was blessed that he had it. Ethan really touched my heart and he is only five years old. We started practicing Spanish after a while. He was not shy and he spoke perfect English. He seemed very appreciative and optimistic towards life. He said he liked Superman a lot. I bet all of those kids have to be very optimistic, resilient, and persistent. I sat with Unaisah on the way there and with Taylor on the way back. Every day I think more and more about Ethan and Panda path. I can't wait to pick pajamas out for them. I am definitely going to pick out Superman Pajamas for Ethan. I hope we get to visit them again. I feel so very blessed that I go to the Kinkaid School and have wonderful parents. I hope all those kids have an amazing life and live happy and be very successful.

  13. My buddy was very very shy! She only said her name. She also said her name very quitely and I did not hear her name so I just moved on. She was also very cute! I also forgot my notecard, which we wrote our Spanish. Just in case they spoke Spanish. I freaked out I thought I was going to not be prepared but fortunately she could understand me. She was so shy in the beginnig that even Professor Marina could not even get her to talk. She picked the book with the soundboard. We read the soundboard book a couple of times. She really liked to press the sounds on the book! I had so much fun at Panda Path!
