Today we had a wonderful Writer's Workshop! Everyone was busy working somewhere in the writing process.
Some people were writing first drafts. Some people were revising by adding show not tells and making sure their hook and endings are crafted well.
Other people were working on cover art or editing.
Please share what you enjoyed about Writer's Workshop today. Where are YOU in the publishing process?
I enjoyed conferencing with six people. I loved seeing everyone's show not tells and their interesting hooks and endings. I can't wait to meet with everyone else tomorrow.

I love writers workshop. I think today was our best day of writers workshop. I love publishing books! I was working so hard on my book and cover. Since I was working so hard i finished my book!
ReplyDeleteIn Writer's Workshop, I got a lot done! I conferenced with Ms. Papadakes. Then, I started recopying my story.
ReplyDeleteI loved that writers workshop. It was so peaceful and quiet. I was working on my cover art. I was also doing a sketch in my notebook. After that I made a comic book. I love writers workshop.

I had so fun today. My favorite thing was writer's workshop because we did our editing and recopying.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy writing my cover because we get to pick what it is and be creative. Before we started, I got frustrated but then i got it and got better at it. I cant wait to finish it will be really fun to look at other peoples blogs.

ReplyDeleteToday I am working on designing my cover. I cannot wait to start conferencing with Ms. P! I am currently working on a book called ** The Lost Map ** with Isabel Cooper and Langston Collins. Shout-out to you because you are great friends and great authors! I really like writing books and reading books! I think Ms. P is great at helping us publish because she is kind and explains the publishing process easily. I can't wait to come back to school on Thursday and keep working on these wonderful "school-made" books! 3-P is full of wonderful authors. I am writing my book in cursive! It is fun to watch our teeny-tiny small seed story turn into a great big watermelon story as a personal narrative stretched out over a small period of time, maybe even a few minutes!
