What color are you???

Have you ever been a ONE, a red, a blue or a yellow, orange, green or purple?

Please tell us your story!

*Make sure you don't use names. We don't want to embarrass anyone.

  1. I have been a blue. I will never forget the time my friend Kara was a ONE and told the boys in my class that she thought that my hairstyle was pretty. I know you all know the story already. I wonder if Kara remembers this incident. I think the person who is the blue remembers forever. That is something all reds need to think about.

  3. I have been a one. A recess one time, there was a girl who was being teased about a letter somebody gave her. The note had said... I like you. Do you like me? Circle yes or no. When I saw them teasing her, I ran over to them.
"Don't tease her. It is not her fault. How would you feel if you got that note, and you were teased," I told them. They immediately stopped.

    1. I am sorry that you have been a blue. I have, too. Maybe next time you are a green, you will be a one because you know what being a blue feel like. You can do it, Nick! People really like you!

    1. BIG TIME...hmmm...so sorry about that, Margaux. Maybe you can use this painful situation to have a deeper understanding of blues around you in the future. You are a very kind, compassionate girl already! Just think of the stories you write!

  9. I was a one when my brother was being picked on by my cousins because they were calling him names like:You're FAT or you eat to much JUNK food! So,practically they were calling him names and making fun of how big he is! I heard them from the front seat and I felt bad for my brother so I turned around and I told my cousins that they really shouldn't make fun of my brother,Brandon. They said that it was true, they said that he is FAT! So once again they kept on calling my brother Fat and so on. I turned around again and said: Stop calling my brother that! It's really RUDE! Then they stopped in silence for a little while and said I was being MEAN! I said that I wasn't the MEAN one in then car and that THEY were being the mean one! Then I said:
"If you're going to say something MEAN,then don't say it at all,"

    1. Way to go, Britney! It is so important to be a ONE in your own family, too! This time you really had to stick with your position and not give up. After a while people will know that you will always stand up and be a ONE and they will be less likely to be a red in front of you! Go Britney!

  10. I can tell that I am usually a red I always tease somebody about a certain thing and I really never even think about how it would make somebody feel it is very embarrassing to say this on a comment right now so I am going to stop.

    1. Lila, you are so wise to make this connection. I am proud of you. I have heard, "When you know better, you do better." So now that you understand more, I bet you change that behavior. You are wonderful, Lila!!!!

  11. I was also a BLUE one time....
my cousins are team PURPLE. And I'm on team GOLD. My cousins said that purple was better than gold, which could be true but when they said that it made my feeling hurt and in my head I thought: If they said purple is better than gold it made me feel like they were better than ME. I tried to be a one by myself but I really couldn't and It lasted all the way till the end of the car ride and no one ever said anything that will help ME.
