The Oregon Trail Experience

What emotions and thoughts do you think children on the Oregon Trail had?

  1. If I were a child on the Oregon Trail, I can imagine feeling very a range of emotions. At first, I think I might be excited and happy to be going on a grand adventure with other families. Since I love to be around people, I think I would have been very happy to get to know people and enjoy evenings of song and dance with a big group.

  2. If I was a child on the Oregon Trail I would feel scared and wish I was at home because It turned out to be not as much fun as they thought.

  5. If I were a child on the Oregon Trail,I would love to go, but now that I know that a lot of people die and that kind of stuff I do not want to go. I would like to sleep inside the wagon and run on the outside when the wagon was moving

  7. If I was a child on the Oregon Trail, I would feel scared because people can die on the Oregon Trail. You should only take a risk if the end result of the risk is worth it. So I'm not sure if I want to go on the Oregon Trail, because you could die, but then again, Oregon is a nice place.

  8. well the children wouldn't know the dangers 'till later so I think a kid would be excited for the first week or two. Then I'd be scared.

  9. It sounds like most kids thought it would be fun but during the end not so much! The shy ones didn't like it form the beginning and it got worse at the end!
