Kathryn Otoshi Visits Kinkaid!

The wonderful author of One and Zero is coming to Kinkaid!
That's right! It is very exciting.

Let's think of some good questions to ask her when she comes. Remember her book Zero is about everyone's having value.

Please look over her website that is linked to our blog!

    1. That is a very good question for Ms. Otoshi, Zoe. It makes me wonder if she ever used her energy trying to be like someone else. Hmmm...

    3. I remember a time in second grade when I came to school with my bangs pulled back in a barrette with hairspray sticking the short pieces back! Immediately, the boys in my class started chuckling!!! I froze. I could feel my eyes filling with tears. A second later, my friend Kara Kunkel exclaimed, "Christine, your hair looks PRETTY!" Then, she glared at the boys with a knowing glance. They knew not to mess with Kara! I made it through the day. I never wore my hair that way again and never forgot Kara's saving me!

  9. I want to know if Katherine Otoshi starts her books with a storyboard, a story mountain or a web? I would also know how she starts her books? Like for example does she start with paper and edit then type on the computer or if she just puts all her ideas into the computer all at once. I would also love to visit her website!!!

  14. I want to know how she comes up with her ideas for One and Zero. I also want to know why she made colors as the characters in One. My teacher just started typing she said, "It reminds me of the M & M characters in a way." I agree with her!
