Independent Reading Rocks!!!
I love to read for fun! I read everything I can get my hands on!!!

I am reading a book called The Desert Fathers. It is about monks in the three hundreds. It is interesting to me because these monks share their words of wisdom about life. Their ideas about life were true in the three hundreds and are STILL TRUE in 2012! For example, the monks think it is good to listen very carefully to people and not talk too much.
The Desert Fathers sounds great!!!!!!!! Now I really want to read it. I am reading Judy moody it is really good because it's really funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
I am reading a book called Mister and Me it is about a little girl and her mom in the 1942's . And there is this boy ( dad ) and the little girl does not like the dad and that is all I have read yet.
My book is funny because it says "tell us little warty man" and the chapters called I dropped a little man on his head. My book is called The Red Pyramid.
It is about 9 greek myths that are changed up a little bit to make it funny it is historical fiction maybe you should come check it out next Wednesday.
I am reading a book called waroirs it is about cats fighting and there are difrent clans and they have diffrent names and that is what my book is about.
Well, I couldn't find it at the library. Oh wait tomorrow we have library so I can see If it's not checked out! HIP HIP HARREY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am reading a book called The Bell Bandit it is very interesting. It is a series the first book is called The Lemonade War. The second book is called The Lemonade Crime. I am on the THIRD BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am reading a book called Clover Twig and the Magical Cottage. It is about a girl who needs a job a there is a house and there is a lady who is a witch and needs a house keeper and she takes the job and that is all I have read yet.
I just read a book called the baseball story of Babe Ruth it was a AWESOME BOOK.It was Babe Ruth's life and when he played on the Red Soxs and Yankees.
I just finished a rely good book to called How to be Cool in 3rd Grade. Maybe tomorrow I will read the Babe Ruth book and if you want to you can read How to be Cool in 3rd Grade Douglas.
I am reading a book called Aliens on Vacation. It is about a boy that has to spend his summer at a hotel called intergalactic bed and breakfast, the reason he has to stay there is because his parents have to go on work trips. It is also a blue bonnet book.
I am reading this new book called the 5 best story's of base ball. It is about Babe Ruth,Jackie Robinson Hank Aaron , Joe DiMaggio, Roberto Clemente, I think its AWESOME I think you should read it some day.
My mom is reading Mary Poppins to us because I am going to see Mary Poppins in New York. And guess what? Brian Ogilivie is playing Bert, and he went to Kinkaid. Mr. Ogilivie invited my family to come BACK STAGE! after the PLAY!
Kee, Joe DiMaggio is a famous baseball player that hit 65 consecutive hits. So that means he hit 1 or 2 or 3 hits in 65 games in a row and broke a base ball record.
It's a book about dolls that come to life when the kid's that play with them are gone and one doll named annabelle go's to find her aunt. Its a grate book!
I am still reading Summer of the Gypsy Moths. It's about two girls named Stella and Angel. They live with Stella's great aunt. One day when Stella and Angel get home from school they find her dead. Then they meet a man named Nick he sells cabins and has a dog. The girls decide not to call the police or anyone. The hard part is finding a place for her aunts body. .
I am reading a book called Honestly, Mallory it is about a girl named Mallory and she is in THIRD GRADE! And she wants to be a Fashion Designer and her friends think it is funny. And there is a TV show called Fashion Fran and there is a kid fashion design contest. And she said that she won so her friends would think that she would be a good fashion designer. And they even have a party for her and her parents tell her to tell the truth that is all I have read yet.
