The Anti-Defamation League recognized Kinkaid as a No Place for Hate school!!!

Please give a specific example of how you have shown one of the Kinkaid four core values in the classroom, in the halls or on the playground!

  1. I felt good when I let some body play 4 square with my freinds. That is a example of kindness.

    1. That is such a great example, Mary Eloise! I am proud of you for including someone in your group. I agree with you. It truly does feel good to show kindness. That good feeling is catchy, too!

  3. Agreed, Hate is the opposite of what we should have, Love. If you see any hate report to a teacher, counselor,or principal. If the school could choose 5 rule I bet you we will choose respect, kindness, honesty, responsibility, and No Place For Hate.

    1. The same is really so true for teachers and I bet the same for parents, as well. I feel good when I treat my students with respect. I really do feel badly when I am not as patient as I can be. I am lucky that my students are kind people.

  6. To be respectful to a teacher in the classroom you shouldn't talk while he or she is talking, you should listen to the teacher, and you should put your eyes on the teacher.

    1. The respectful behavior that you are describing makes a teacher feel so valued. That teacher will reflect that positive feeling right back on that student. When a teacher and I student respect and care for each other wonderful learning takes place for BOTH!Great thinking, Sara.

  8. An example of kindness would be getting something for a teacher, Even if it is during a class. you should always be kind and helpful to a teacher. for example, I got Ms. Papadakes sunglasses when we were going to recess.
