Your PIoneer Family
Please tell us about your pioneer family. Who is in your family? What are the personality traits of the people in your family? Share a few good and bad things that will happen to your precious family on the trail!
I have a sister, dad and mom. My mom is silly. My dad is nice. My sister is sassy. The good things on the Oregon Trail: -fresh air -getting to forts -foods on the Oregon trail such as chocolate, coffee beans and dried fruit.
The bad things on the Oregon Trail -drowning -accidental gun shots -snake bites -getting run over by a wagon
So I am going to start with my mom. She is 40 years old. She has blond hair and she is 5 foot 4. She is very playful. My dad is 38 years old and he is 6 foot 4. He has black brown hair and is very playful. Then there is me. 10 years old. I am 5 foot 3 and I have blond hair. I am playful. My sister is 8 years old and has blond hair. She is 3 foot 11 and very shy. Then there is my brother 6 years old 3 foot 10 and has bright blond hair. He is also playful. I did that all by memory. 2 bad things on the trail are my cousin will die and 5 people will die at both crossings at snake river. 2 good things that will happen are, are hole family will make it safely and that a baby will be born.
My favorite person in my faimaly is my sister Lila. my ma's name is Charolatte. My dads name is oliver. We are one day before scedule. One really bad thing is that our pilot (wagon train leader)gets a snake bite and dies. I have 2 siblings. Violet is the youngest she is 13 she has light orange hair and she has many freakles. She is nice and playful. Her hight is 4 foot 1. She likes to wear her hair in braids. She likes to wear a light orange calico dress and a apron. My oldest brother's name is Edger he is 16. He is sweet and joyful. His hight is 6 foot 2. His hair coler is cocolate brown. My Ma is going to have another baby or should I say twins. Their names are going to be Charlote and Felix. My name is going to be Beatrice. My Ma's name is Harriet. She is kind but stern. Her hight is 5 foot 11. She is 45 years old. My Pa's name is Sturt. He is silly and funny. His hight is 6 foot 5. He is 46 years old. 2 bad thangs that will hapen on the trail My sister gets Cholora and The indians attac. 2 good thangs that will happen on the trail. Indiens will trade horses for food and my sister survives Cholora.
Well I'm going to start with Leo and his twin Clara. Leo likes to ride the dog. Clara likes to play with her pet a dead bug. Ma is a normal mother that does not want to go. Pa on the other hand is just the opposite. Then there is me Elliot shy and funny. Next up is Felix who is just pretty normal except he takes after Pa, a LOT. Last is Hazel who pretty much does her own thing.
My name is Lila Eloise McCully age ten 4 foot 9. I have shoulder length blond hair and I wear it in braids every day with little ribbons on the ends which mach my dress. I usually wear a long dress with an apron and brown boots.

PERSONALITY Pa is a good pa. He is very brave, strong and tough. he helps our hole family and he will held up survive on the trail. I love him.
MA GEORGIA MERDITH MCCULLY AGE 42
PERSONALITY Ma is a nice loving Ma that cares for everyone is our family and she cooks every single meal for us. I love her to.
SISTER #1 ANNABELLE FRANCINE MCCULLY AGE 13
PERSONALITY Annabelle is a nice, kind, loving sister who always takes Ma's place when she's busy. Annabelle is one of my favorites.
SISTER #2 PRISCILLA JOSEPHINE MCCULLY AGE 7
PERSONALITY Priscilla is so SASSY!!! She always gets her way. I know so UNFAIR!!! She is my least favorite. I hate her so mush that one time when I was like three I trapped her in a create and tried to sell her for a penny!!!
SISTER #3 DORTHEY CLARA MCCULLY AGE 10 MONTHS
PERSONALITY Dorthey is SO SO SOOOOO CUTE!!!!! She is one of my favorites to. And Dortheys's first and only word is Lila!!! I'm so exited because Ma is having triplets on the trail!
BROTHER OLIVER FELIX MCCULLY AGE 20
PERSONALITY Oliver is very strong! He helps Pa do almost everyone. I think he's really nice and I love him.
DOG MILES JASPER MCCULLY AGE 3
DOG TYPE Yellow Lab
PERSONALITY Miles is a nice fun kind of dog. He is our guard dog and my chores are to feed him, wash him, walk him and just take care of him.
I have two brothers one's name is Russel and he is 18 and pretty shy. My other brother's name is Felix he is 16 and he is really smart. I also have a sister her name is Amelia who is 17 and is adventurous. My mom is 34 and my dad is 36 and is like Amelia. I am 14 and my mom and I aren't sure what to think.
My name is Camille Skyman. I am 9 years old and I am 4 foot 5. I am the oldest child in my family which means I am dependable and I have many tasks each day. My hair is blonde and is extremely long. I wear it in braids every day. I have two sisters Emmeline, age 8, and Stella, age 2. Every morning I braid their hair and dress them in their dresses, aprons, and boots. Emmeline is my best friend and has really long hair just like me. She is adventurous and always has a large smile on her face. Stella is a sweet, small sister and has shoulder length hair. Felix, age 7, Leo, age 5, and Arthur, age 3. They are very playful and wild boys but I love them very much. Ma is the best ma a girl could ever have. Her name is Charlotte but we all call her ma. She is 43 years old and has beautiful blonde shoulder length hair. We are the only blondes in the family. Ever morning I tie her apron and help her around the house. Ma is the best chef in the house. Pa is 47 years old and is a tough and brave pa. His name is Clark and he has brown hair just like Felix does. With his personality traits, he will help us many times during our trip aloung the Oregon trail. Our family has a white and fluffy puppy who has already learned to play fetch with a stick. We think that she will grow up to be a great guard dog.

Robert= 17 sweet to sisters but can get a little vicious when his sisters bother him.
Helen= nice, scared and hates her brothers.
Eleanor =me= 11 adventurous, scared what will happen on the trail, sweet, trust her mother no matter what, loves her dog Caleb and hates her brothers also.
Albert= 3 cries A LOT screams A LOT stays in the wagon A LOT since they babies usually stay in the wagon with their mom.
There are five people in my pioneer family , all of their personalities are different. The mom's name is Pearl, she is not so sure about the trail. She worries about all the dangers on the trail. But she is trying to make the best of it.
The dad is not as worried as he mom but he still is protective of his kids. He likes to hunt with his daughter, Virginia ( thats me). He likes to ride the horse with his son, Griffin.
I am very adventurous and brave. I want to go on the trail, i'm excited that Ma said yes. I can't wait to go hunting, ride horses , and collect buffalo chips. I can't wait to have the adventure on the Oregon Trail.Most of all, I can't wait to get to Oregon!
My brother, Griffin, likes to lay low and relax. ( he is not very exciting in my opinion)
Here are some good things that happen on the trail
No deaths no sicknesses finding forts find supplies get to Independence Rock early get to any land mark early get to Oregon early babies marriages smoking tobacco with the indians surviving Cholera surviving river crossings no mustangs or oxen die not getting lost.
Here are some bad things that could happen on the trail.
Cholera accidental gun shots getting run over by the wagons wagon tipping drowning snake bites hypothermia dehydration heat stroke Thunder storms being at the back of the wagon and running out of food.
When I continue my journal I'll choose what good or bad things will happen on the trail!
I have a small famliy I have Ma Pa and my brother Henry. The bad things are Ma dies of Cholera I get a bad scar but I dont die. A friend on are wagon train drowns in a river. Good things are we get 2 more Mustangs and we cross rivers safley. I am looking fowerd to doing a double journaling.
My mom is silly so is dad my brother is obnoxious sometimes, somteimes he is funny. My mom and dad are afraid that we dont or get hurt Colera,drowning,accidental gun shots,and not for the wagon to tip over.
I have a mom a dad and a sister My mom is very exited about leaving,she also wants to kill my dad. My dad is not exited about leaving,he has very bad luck. My sister will do anything to make me mad.
I am in the Moon family. I have a pa named Herbert, a ma named Pearl, a brother named Braxton, a sister named Opal, and one more on the way. Here are the families going on the same wagon train as us including mine, the Moons, the Rosses, the Griffins, the Blues, the Youngs, the Shipleys, the Hoovers,and the Duncans. I have 4 brothers and the oldest name is Stuart 19, Jarvis 13, I forgot the rest bit they all Have regular personality's like happynes and get excited. There might be snake bites and cholara.

I like to cook with my mom and dad. I also am really really really super adventurous. My mom's name is Madeline and my dad's name is Christopher. There's going to be some friendship along the trail but there's going to be some dying on the trail too.
