Step-up Day Helpful Ideas!

I can hardly believe that we just have a precious few days of school left!

Please share some of your thoughts about third grade in our classroom. What are your favorite times of the day? Do you especially like our Thirty Glorious Minutes of Independent Reading? Why? Do you look forward to relaxing on a bean bag and listening to a great chapter book during Read Aloud? How about math groups? Blogging? What else? Pioneer Journals, Native American iMovie?

Please help me will some ideas to share with our rising third graders on Step Up Day! I am planning on sharing this blog post with the future third graders!

P.S. Please show them that good bloggers check over their writing for correct capitalization on punctuation before posting!

  14. I loved third grade, it was awesome. I loved math groups because we got to do new things every day. I loved read aloud because we got to hear new stories every once in a while and rest on the bean bags. I loved P.E. because we got to do different activates every week. I loved independent reading because we have 30 glorious minutes to read. That's why I loved third grade!

  15. I am really sad that school is almost over. But I am also really exited about summer. And this is why I love our class.

10 or more things why I love Ms.Papadakes: She is kind, respectful, understanding, forgiving, funny, always happy, pretty, she makes everything that sounds boring actually exiting and fun, she's helpful, fun and the best teacher ever. But just because I said she is the best teacher ever doesn't mean that the other teachers aren't the best. There are a lot of other things I LOVE but I am running out of time so I can only put a little. This is what I LOVE about our class. I LOVE independent reading (when I have a book), read aloud, writers workshop, FEATURE ARTICLE, Native American i IMovies, Pioneer hour, the beanbags and the whole room and supplies. And last but not least, what activities I like: P.E. (The coach is coach Rodreagiz), art, music, spanish, science, well I like everything. I cant wait to see forth grade. Bye

  16. Here are things I liked about Ms. Papadakes's class and why I liked them.

    • Independent Reading. At the beginning of the year I didn't think I was going to like it. But now I love reading.

    • P.E. This year you have 45 minutes instead of 30.

    • Lunch. Which is the same as every grade but still fun to talk to your friends. And now you have the opportunity to join cafe every other Wednesday.

    • Read aloud. The thing about Gorgie is great book about !#%@$%^&*^^&*^&^&&*$%U^$%^&$^%&^%^%%^!@#$%^&*()_+{}|:"<>? sorry no spoiling.

•You get to have bean bags.

•Here are some big activities like Imovies on the Native Americans and Pioneer hour.

What is there not to like about Ms. P's third grade except that you only have 15 minutes of recess but she is so nice she lets us have 10 minutes extra!
