The Heritage Society

We had a wonderful day today at the Houston Heritage Society! We toured some historical buildings of downtown Houston, and had hands-on experiences with artifacts from the past!

Write 4 sentences reflecting on your favorite parts of the field trip. What did you enjoy most? What did you learn? What are the parts of the day you will never forget?

  1. I think it was pretty neat to go to the heritage society. We went into an old church and ringed the bell at least fifty times, and we went into a house that was made of wood and you feel like you would get splinters just by looking at it, but nobody did. We also went into an extremely old building that is like a cross between a museum and a library.
