  1. I loved going to Panda Path. I thought it was very special. I loved reading and sharing my books with the kids. I think it was still fun that we sometimes when they talked you couldn't understand them. Panda Path has some cool things. Like how that guy talked to us about the after school program. That sounds fun!! I am so glad they appreciated our books. It was kind of hard having two people. Because one kid would want to read a book and the other one would want to read another one. It was still very fun. I hope the kids enjoy our books and read them.

  4. My experience at Panda Path was a positive one. I think it was a good opportunity for the students at both schools because we got to learn more Spanish and they got to learn more English. Also, I have always enjoyed meeting new people. My buddies were so nice. 2 of them spoke mostly Spanish. 1 spoke mostly English. Even though I couldn't really communicate with some of them I still had a great time. I can't wait to go back to Panda Path!

  8. I loved going to Panda Path school it was such a treat to get see their amazing school. Both of my buddies wanted to read the same book. My second buddy was a little shy when he sat down, he just picked up a book and started looking at it. Then I started to introduce myself and he started talking a lot more. After we read the book I asked them a few questions and then went back to the book and pointed out some words and asked him to repeat them after me. My second buddy had a superhero shirt so I asked hi what his favorite super hero was and he said it was Spider Man and his favorite color was red. My first buddy chose one of my books called Bones it teaches you about the bones. And I think my second one chose one called Should I Share My Ice Cream by Mo Willems. It was such a pleasure to go to Panda Path they had a beautiful school, and those after school activities fun.

  9. It felt good to give a book to a little kid. It was a fun day. Eating outside, heading to the bus, seeing panda path amazed me. When I saw the little kids I felt good about reading to them. I was wondering what buddy I would get. The were nice kids and most of them spoke Spanish. The first kid I had I shared with Lia. Then I had two little kids they were really cute. I read all of my books to the two kids. They were so happy and cheerful. When it was time to go I gave two books to each of them. I felt really good.

  11. I thought it made me feel very good about myself. My first buddy did not talk but I knew he knew what I was saying because he nodded his head every once in a while. My other buddy was very different than my other buddy. The second buddy loved to point things out to me. It looked like he had fun. And I am pretty sure that they both were shy, but I think they both had a great time. I hope they did!

  12. Panda Path was sooooooo FUN!!

My first buddy had a cool hair do. He got mad at me when I turn the pages it was really funny he loves turning pages. we read the book called froggy’s first christmas he would laugh when I would say flop-flop-flop. Then we talked about his brother. He was so cool!!

My next buddies were funny and they would laugh at every thing they even laugh at a boat. And one of them started to look at another book while I was reading another book and then when I looked looked at him he got embarrassed so put it down. And my other one kept looking away and I didn't want him to miss any thing so I kept trying to turn him back around and it finally worked.
My heart was filled with joy ( In other ways I was jubilant ) when I gave away my books to the kids it was wonderful!!

  13. I think it was a really fun experience! My first buddy was cute and she asked me in english if she could go to the restroom. She also liked lifting the flaps on the book and would get mad if I flipped the wrong flap, or flipped the page without her. My second buddy has very good english. I pointed to colors and she said them in english. I also said "can you point to the blah blah blah blah blah blah" and she did! The time is gone, so see you next time @MS.PAPADAKES'HIDAWAY.ORG:}!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. I loved going to Panda Path and meeting little preKers because my first buddy was shy at first but then she started to lift up her head, listening, and smiling! My second buddy was pretty shy too but in the middle of the book she started lifting her heard up and telling me stories in Spanish. I loved reading books to them and giving them books. It felt good because it's better to give than to get.

  16. My experience was awesome because one of my buddies was very shy and at the end of the story she went back to the page where the tail on an animal was wrapped around the tree and she traced it with her finger and she started laughing. When it was time to go she didn't want to go and it felt good to be giving instead of giving .

  17. I liked going to Panda Path because you got to get a chance to read to two pre-kindergardners. My favorite part was seeing who my partner was. It was hard to understand them if you got a partner that was learning how to speak English. It was fun with whatever partner you got.

  19. I had a good time at Panda Path. My first buddy was crying because I think she was scared of all of us because she did not know us. Finally at the end she started laughing it really made my happy. My second buddy was really quiet but she was really respectful because she did not stop me in the middle of the book. After I felt really good by helping young kids that don't have everything that we have. I hope I can help some more kids.
