We have just now gotten back into full swing with our independent reading books! Please share with us your thoughts on any book that you are excited about right now. It could be a book that you just finished, have just started, are in the middle of or whatever!

Right now, I'm reading the book Fig Pudding. I am in the middle of the book. I am at the part where Brad dies. I really like how Ralph Fletcher writes. I am excited to read the book Arnie the doughnut and the Bowling Ball Bandit. I am going to look into a book called Flying Solo By Ralph Fletcher.

Right now i'm reading I survived the sinking of the titanic 1912. ( sorry I could not under line ) I am at the part where the Titanic is sinking and they have to leave Marco behind cause no men George hits his head and falls. But Marco caches him and they have to jump. George finds a door and climbs on Marco gets in a crate. And sees a rope attached to the crate and ties it to his hand and George grabs it.

Right now I am almost done with book called Touchdown for Tommy. My mom and I are reading it. It is so good. If you can't find a book it would be a great book to read. I recommend it! Even if you don't like football you would like it. Because it is not just about football. I have about 20 pages left! The next book I'm going to look at is( in the Huddle With Steve Young. If you don't know Steve Young was a really good NFL QB. Both of these books are written by Matt Christopher. I like him because he writes about sports and I love to play sports. That is my Independent Reading update.
ReplyDeleteI am in the middle of a book called MIDDLE SCHOOL My Brother is a Big Fat Liar. I think it is good because there is a boy named Ralf and a girl named Georgia. Ralf is the Number one rule breaker. His Goal was to break all of the Rules in the school but before he did the expeled him. After Rafe got kicked out Georgia started going to school there. All of the teachers thought that she was just like Rafe but she kept on saying that I am not like Rafe. I dont want to spoil it so I hope you read this serise of books.

ReplyDeleteI am reading Perfect Season. It is about this boy named Troy in the previous books troy shows the world his predicting plays powers. But in this book it doesn't work and he is doing it for a different team . His Dad spent every penny of his contract it was 15,000,000$ .I have read 64 books this Year. I WILL SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.
ReplyDeleteMy comment got erased so this won't be very long:{]. I'm reading the book called The Genius Files; mission unstoppable. The main character's names are Coke and Pepsi McDonald. They are twins. Coke is a boy and is older than Pepsi, but Pepsi is a girl but she goes by pep. They were named that because they we're born 13 years earlier than they were supposed to! They are being chased by a man in a golf cart and find a woman who tells them he's trying to kill them! She convinces Coke to jump of a cliff in a flight suit for there lives, but not pepsi[Pepsi is still wearing a flight suit]. So Coke is trying to help the lady by convincing Pepsi. But the lady gets hit with a dart! Without thinking Coke pushes Pepsi off the edge and jumps off right after her! What will happen next? Will Coke and Pepsi survive? ReplyDeleteright now I am reading Race For The Sky it's soooooooo good so far. The main character is Johnny More. His favorite things to do are fishing and hunting and he hates school. one his mom gave him a book with no pages for a second but then he said, "this is not a book there no words". his mom said your spouts to write in it Johnny said "if I write in this book every day I don't have to go to school". DEAL shouted his mom!! and thats were I left of GOOD BY!!
ReplyDeleteI am reading Horrible Histories, Blitzed Brits illustrated by Martin Brown and written by Terry Deary at home. At school, I am looking for a book in the library. I may read about the Eiffel Tower because I was just visiting Paris over the break and because I am doing a page over it for a project.
ReplyDeleteI have started The Evening of the Elves. Right now a girl named Hillary has elves living in her back yard. She and her friend built back up there houses. But her friend thinks she will not take good care of the elves.
ReplyDeleteI am reading Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief! It is so good. I recommend it. But if you don't like long books you wont like it. it is 375 pages. It a is about a kid named Perseus ( Percy for short ). Right now Percy is figuring out that his dad is Poseidon the god of water. If you are thinking this book sounds terrible. It is not. I have to go bye.
