Isaac has actually been to Australia! Bring it on, Isaac!
The Himalaya mountains provide a home for some of India's rarest animals and plants.The most elusive animal is the snow leopard even Cows are allowed to wander through city streets, which often causes traffic jams! The Population is:1,095,351,995. the Major Rivers are: Ganges, Yamuna, Indus and Brahmaputra. The Capital is: New Delhi. The Area is: 1,269,345 sq miles.

An area called the Ganges Plains covers most of Northern India.

Henna ink comes from the leaves of the Henna Tree.
People from India believe that bathing in the Ganges River is sacred.
Cows are sacred in India.
That is all on India.

Australia has some of the best surfers in the entire WORLD!
Australia is home to the famous Sydney Opera House.
The Australian Outback is a large desert that is home to many species of animals such as Kangaroos, Wallabies, the Platypus (I did not know how to spell the plural of platypus so I said the Platypus ), Snakes and Emu.
That is all I have to say about Australia and India. Have a great International Fair!

ReplyDeleteThe austalians did a lot of rock art and while they did it, they enjoyed it. THe aboriginal people of Australia have inhabited the land for about 40,000 to 100,000 years. Art is very important to the Australian culture. They believed that pictures imported powers and that they draw a fat fish it will come their way. Certain clans were responsible for painting a specific animal. THe last few rock artists died in the 1960's. Thats all I had about Australia. goodbye
In Australia they have ancient art. They do rock paintings. The aboriginal people in Australia are believed to inhabited Australia for 40,000 years maybe even 100,000 years. Thats A LOT. Australia is the only country in the world that covers an entire continent. It is one of the largest countries on Earth. More than 1/3 of Australia is desert. There are a lot of deadly animals in Australia. Including 20 different types of venomous snakes. There are several rain forests in Australia. The aboriginal people arrived about 50,000 years ago. I have to give credit to national geographic.I learned a ton! Im looking forward to international fair 2013-2014!

Most villagers are a days walks away from the railroad station.
1 and a half million people work at the railroad.
Sometimes performers perform at the railroad station before their train lefts.

India has 12,000 types of flowering plants.
India is the only country that has lions and tigers.
India is a bird watchers paradise.
The Sundarbans is the largest mangrave forest.
Tigers swim in the same waters as sea creatures.
The first train that left the India Railroad was in 1853.
The India Railroad has 38,0000 miles of track.
Grand Trunk Express goes nearly as far as the country.
One of Australia's famous cities is Sydney, where the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House is located. Also some Animals are:

Austrialia is the smallest continent in the world! There is a rock in the outback called Ayers Rock it is one of the tallest in the world. Over the Syndey Harbor Bridge are on New Years Eve some of the most famous fireworks .Syndey has the most famous opera house in the world! Australia has some history too. The first people to live in australia were the Aborigines. They made a lot rock art it represented their beliefs. After a while english men came to Australia. They took Aborigine kids away to turn them so they will have white kids.They have animals too. Everybody knows that they have koalas and kangaroos but they also have akidnas that look like porcupines. There is an island called kangaroo island not because it has kangaroos becase kangaroo was hi in one language so one guy asked him what should I call this island the other guy said kangaroo because it ment hi so he named it kangaroo. Right now australian people don't have a language. Australia is a great country. Can't wait for international fair 2013 -2014

Australia is the only country in the world that covers an entire continent! More than 1 3rd of Australia is a desert. Some of the australians animals are kangaroo, koala, echidna,and flat billed platypus. Most Australian cities and farms are located in the southwest and southeast, where the climate is most comfortable.The country's largest deserts are where there are scorching temperatures, little water, and almost no vegetation.
ReplyDeleteThere clothes are very bright in India! In some parts of India they don't cut their hair. Usually in parts of India, they don't eat meat. Most of their foods are spicy! India has a lot of dancing! Which I like!
ReplyDeleteI learned that India is mostly surrounded by water. I also learned that animals are sacred and most sacred is the cow. So no hamburgers! I learned that tigers swing with the dolphins in the Bay of Bengal. In India they speak Hindi and English and the money is rupees.
