I am rereading one of my favorite books of all time called The Alchemist. It is a fable about life. The Little Prince is also a fable about life! The main character's name is Santiago. The story is set in Spain and Egypt. Santiago is looking for treasure. He meets many supporting characters along his journey. I will tell you more soon!
I am reading Game Changers were a boy called Ben has always wanted to play quarterback for his school, but never gets the chance. He barely makes it over the weight limit by one pound and checks himself everyday to make sure he hasn't lost any weight. Every year he tries out for QB but every year someone beats him. This year it had been a kid named Shaun, his dad was the coach. He has a bad attidute when he makes a bad play. So one day after practice he asked if Shaun wanted to go out to get pizza. Shaun said "yes". So when they sat down in the both Ben wanted to make friends with Shaun so he started to talk to him. Then later in the book they have a game and they lose because Shaun threw a pick six. After the game Ben wanted to go talk to Shaun but saw how mad he was that it was best to let him be. The next day he went to his house. When he step out into the backyard were Shaun was he gasped, Shaun had football field in his backyard and even a score board.When Shaun's dad said Ben was here he threw one more pass into the robotic wide reciver and came up to Ben. After they stopped talking they threw the football around and then when they were done Shaun asked Ben if he could keep a secret Ben said "yes" so then Shaun told Ben..... read the book to find out
I am reading I Survived the Battle of Gettysburg. I like this series because they are good freaky and sometimes funny (not usually). I would recommend this book if you are board of your other ones. I love this series SO much that I read I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic in one night of reading so I insist that you at least try this series
I'm reading a book called: Lunch Lady and the Video Game Villain. So there is this lunch lady that works at a school and is also a super hero! In this book Hector, a main character, is running for president at the school. And so is Milmoe, a supporting character or at least that is what I think,but in this book he is probably a main character, meanwhile a superintendent is coming to check on the school and make sure it is in shape. Meanwhile someone keeps steeling everybody's tech, and that person is... read the book to find out!
I am reading a book called Finally by Wendy Mass. It is about a girl named Rory who wants to get a phone and her parents said she could have a phone when she was 12th birthday. So Rory started to make a list when she was about seven about things that her parents said she could have when she was 12. The night before Rory turned 12, she cleaned all of the babyish stuff out of her room. The next morning when she woke up, Rory decided to have coffee when her mom and dad were not watching. She put a cup the coffee machine she twisted everything on it that she could twist or pull. The coffee started coming out all right, but after the cup was full, it kept on pouring!!! Rory finally put an other cup under and right as it reached the top of that cup it finally stopped pouring. Rory cleaned up the dripping coffee with a paper towel and then she drank BOTH cups of coffee!!!!!
I just started Arnie the doughnut and the Bowling Alley Bandit. It is really good because it has a lot of humor in it. Arnie goes to the Bowling alley with Mr. Bing. Mr Bing plays on a bowling alley team called the bing bats. Every time Mr. Bing goes to the bowling alley he always uses the 13 pound bowling ball named Bruiser. I don't really want to spoil the rest of the book so I recommend this book to every buddy. I hope you read it
Iam reading a book called A Boy at War A novel of pearl harbor it is so good. The main character's name is Adam,adam moves a lot because he is a military kid. Adam's dad is in the military he hast to be careful what he does because if he dose something bad it effects his dad and his family. Adam has a Japanese friend named Davie adam really likes Davie. One day Adam was riding his bike and he saw Davie and some other of davie's friends they invited him to play with them adam said yes. After they played davie and adam went to davie's hose and adams bike broke he picked up his bike and walked to davie's hose. Next davie said "my dad can fix it and wile he is fixing it you can check out my room" Adam said "ok!" After Davie's dad fixed his bike Adam went home . Then he told his dad and he got mad and then adam's dad told him about the war the americans and the japanese are in. Adam was fishing with his friends then all of these Japanese planes flew over his head…read the the book to find out!!!
What has happened in my book capture the flag is.... there is a person that they are spying on in the museum. At the American flag making... there is a mystery person that the flag making people are scared of. That is all I have to share.
I'm reading Brixton Brothers 4 Danger Goes Berserk and Who was King Tut. Who was King Tut is about King Tut's life and facts about ancient Egypt. Ancient Egypt is really interesting. I learned lots of things. 1. hieroglyphics was a mystery until a french man figured out the language after a lot of studying. 2. hieroglyphics are normally pictures and one hieroglyphic can be lone word. 3. in order to enter the under world, you have to weigh your heart. (remember the person who's weighing his heart is dead) If your heart is lighter than a feather then you may enter the under world. If the heart is heaver than a stone, then you roam the world forever as a spirit. 4. King Tut was a pharaoh in Egypt. 5. King Tut died when he was 18 or 19. 6. King Tut's real name is Tutankhamen. I could go on and on but I have to stop here. See you tomorrow!
Im reading a book called genius files 2 theres lots of action and the two mane charecters are Coke and Pepsis and there last name is Micdonold. There in this program called the genius files so far people have bin trying to kill them. im not going to tell iny more because i now people are going to read it.
I have been on the computer looking for books to read. I have recommended two books to two people. One is Samantha an American Girl doll book and the other Drama. I am looking for some really good books. I have some ideas and some of my friends have recommended some good ones.
I am reading a book called Sammy Keyes. Sammy does chores around the church everyday after school. One day the priest found that someone stole his cross necklace. He thought it was Sammy. Sammy has a friend named Dot because she had a brown circle a her cheek. Sammy lives with her grandmother because her mom went off to be a moviestar in hollywood.
I just finished a book called The Big Time. It was about a 12 year old boy named Troy. Troy's dad left Troy and his mom when Troy was very young. In this book, his dad comes back. And he is RICH! He is a lawyer for a famous rapper named G Money. G Money has a friend who is practically evil. Of course, Troy doesn't know that. Troy has a special gift that came to him as a baby that he can see football plays that the other team is going to run before they happen. Right now Troy is working for the Atlanta Falcons. Troy wants his dad to be his lawyer. So, Troy's dad becomes his lawyer. Troy's dad got him an amazing job with the New York Jets and Troy would get paid $5 million. Troy doesn't know that his dad was planning to steal his money. The reason why is because Troy's dad took a loan from one of G Money's friends and couldn't pay it back. If not, they would kill him. Troy found this out because of the FBI. Troy has a friend who is a security guard for Mr. Langan, the owner of the Falcons in the book, and the FBI was investigating Troy's dad and told Troy about what they had heard. I don't want to spoil the best part for you, so that is all I am going to say!
WARNING! SPOILER ALERT! If you are going to read The Genius Files, then DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT READ THIS BLOG POST! I am at the part where they[ Coke and Pepsi ] are going cross country and finally get to the largest ball of twine in the world. The reason why they want to get so badly is because they've been recruited to a secret agency and it's their job to stop it. But when they get there, they see a man that they saw earlier at a landmark and he tells them there is another largest ball of twine in the world in Wisconsin, but there is no proof which one is bigger. Pepsi suddenly realized that they are at the wrong ball of twine in the world and only have seven hours to get there and that is how long it takes to get there. They had to leave fast! that's where I left off.
I am reading Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. It is really good! The main character is Percy Jackson and his real name is Perseus. He doesn't know that his father is Poseidon the son of the seas. Poseidon is a Greek God. Percy thinks he has dyslexia but it is really that he can read Greek words because his father is a God. He has no idea that his father is a god. But his mom knows his father is a god.And is not allowed to tell Percy.He lives with his mother and a person called Gabe. Percy does not like Gabe. He goes to a school and his best friends name is Grover. Grover has crutches because he (paralyzed) at least what Percy thinks. Grover is really half goat half human. He is goat from the waist down. Percy's teacher name is Mr. Brunner and he is in a wheelchair. But he is actually half horse half human. One day his mom tells Percy they are going to a beach that they go to a lot. So they went and one stormy night they heard a knock on the door. The mom opened it and way Grover was standing in the doorway. Grover whispered, "its time to go" to his mother. Then the mother called Percy's name and they left and Percy wondered two things why is Grover here and where are they going.Then They got in the car and drove away...... You will have to read the book to find out the rest.
I am reading Flying Beaver Brothers. In the beginning there are two beavers, one laying on the ground and one on a tree. The one in the tree in about to do a stunt. He jumps off the tree and pulls out his parachute and lands in the water. When he lands in the water he pulls out his surf board and suddenly a big wave comes and knocks him out of the water. He lands with his head in the sand! When he looks to the side his board is gone. Penguins took it!
I am reading a book called Holes. There is a boy named Stanley, a perfectly fine one. But he remembers that they say that his great great great grandpa was cursed for stealing a pig. Now the curse has gotten him, and he's been put on a bus, chained to the seat and handcuffed for more than 8 hours on his way to camp Green Lake. Next, he met the head of the camp who just got off smoking and so he is very grouchy. Stanley was then given instructions of what to do, and then he goes to his tent and meets his counselor. His counselor is nice and said "your not bad you have just made a few mistakes in your life." Stanley has to be out in the sun all day with no air conditioning for 18 months. You hardly get any water, you think you can escape since there is no fence but there's a HUGE river and nobody can survive it. And all you do is dig holes 6 feet deep in every direction.
P.S. I'm not very far in the book and I know I would not want to go to this camp.
I just finished a book. The tittle is Percy Jackson The Lightning Thief. Now I am reading I survived the Nazi Invasions. I reccomend both books. They are great books!
