  4. Veteran's clearly very important. The video was all about the military and how they fought for our country. I always wondered what happened if you got hurt. When you get hurt you get the purple heart. In the video that you got the day off. I don't think that part was true. It is a tradition fur the president to put flour reefs on the men who died in the wars graves. My grandpa joined the navy when he was 17. When he finally got in the war had ended. My great grandfather was a jenarle.

  8. I don't know of anyone in my family who served in World War II, but my great grandfather was in the merchant marines (which is basically suppliers for the army) between World War I and World War II. I wonder how many men in my family (in the past) got drafted into the army. I thought it was cool that unknown soldiers got their own grave that they all shared. I think Veterans Day is a really important holiday because it is honoring those who served in the army and they should because all the soldiers that died in battle risked their lives for the U.S.

  9. I think Veterans Day is very important. That is my personal opinion. Both my parents grandparents were in world war 2. My mom's dad was a pilot in the Air Force for over 25 years and was in the Vietnam War. My parents really like to honor the people who were in the war. "I feel blessed to have had such brave men and women fight for my freedom," my Mom said. Happy Veterans Day!

  10. I think Veterans Day is a great day! Because if we didn't have veterans we probably wouldn't even be here right now! So I think we are lucky to have such great soldiers to protect us. So are country is very lucky. But just talk about seals, Air Force, army, navy, and I could just go on and on. You should be very thankful to have all the freedom that we have. Bye see you at school!

  11. I love are country because we win almost every war which it makes are country stand up and so there is no more war. Our country has lots of things like good schools, teachers, police ofisers, firemen, tecknoligi, grocery stors. These things are to help us live a good life. We can show the veterans we are thankful for saving our country by saying good job in the war out there. We can also thank them by hugging him and getting flowers. I like the holiday because we should respect the veterans so they can be proud.
