Shawnee Sharing!

These nomadic Native Americans roamed the forests with other Eastern Woodland tribes. They certainly had troubling times with Europeans like the other tribes!

Please share some fascinating facts that you have learned so far.

  1. I love native Americans! Here are 2 facts. 1. Boys play hoop and arrow to improve hunting skills. 1. They lived in houses made of bent tree poles covered in bark. I love native Americans!

  3. Native Americans is the best. There are so many facts about Shawnee. But my two favorite facts is that they play hoop and arrow to help with hunting skills. And the women and men play games to get rain.

  4. The Shawnee are so awesome. They have groups called clans.
    They wore long shirts with leggings and moccasins. Their homes are made from bent tree poles covered with bark or animal hides.
    They grew corn, beans, squash and pumpkins. They hunted deer, buffalo, bear and turkey. The Shawnee are so fascinating.

  5. I love the Shawnee. Here is a fact... men hunted deer, bear, buffalo and wild turkey. Woman grew corn, beans, squash and pumpkins. I love the Shawnee so much. I thought I would not like this tribe but it turns out I love this tribe.
