Last night I started reading a memoir call Educated. The hook is just amazing. So far the most memorable line is something like..."The school bus passed our house. The thing about our family is that we don't go to school. I am seven years old." The author really makes it easy for me to envision the setting. The author described the mountains and the wind blowing through the main characters hair. I am so glad that I am taking a risk and trying a new genre!
I am reading Percy Jackson. It is amazing !It is about a boy and he never knew his dad. What he does not know is his dad is a god! But not just any god Poseidon!
Just today I looked at new series named "Magic Bone." It is very interesting. Its a dog named Sparky with his owner Josh. Sparky has a magic bone sends him around the world. That explains a lot. I really think reading this whole year!
Last week I started reading BIG NATE THE BOY WITH THE BIGGEST HEAD IN THE WORLD. I love the book because Nate is such a funny kid with an older sister named Ellen and his dad. He has 2 friends named Teddy and Francis who stay with him through out the book. He always takes a trip to detention because a girl named Gina always tells on him. I'm looking forward to finishing it!
Today i went to the library and I got a book called Funny Girl and a Baby Sitters Club book. I flipped through the both books and they looked really good. funny Girl is a book about a girl telling us funny things. Baby Sitters Club is about a group of girls that start a club where they baby sit people and this one is about a girl named Dawn and she is baby sitting three impossible children. I cant wait to start both.
Today I at school started reading a book called, Gooney Bird on the Map. So far in the book, it is February and Miss. Pigeon's second grade class and the whole school have a Valentines day vacation. The genre is fantasy. The main character's name is ... Gooney Bird!
At home, I have been reading a book called Mr. Sunny is Funny. The ending is a whole story reminder. In every book in the series they have this type of ending!
Im reading Mrs. Holly is to jolly. It is about Christmas. They are having a play they are pretty good. I would recommend the Nathan Hale series they are black hole books! They are about American history.
Yesterday,I finished a book named Princess Posey ,Crazy, Lazy, Vacation. It was so funny! And, all because of THIS memorable line: "Posey's mom opened the door. "Shhh!" The delivery man just stood there like a zombie." I LOVED IT! LOL!
I just finished a book called Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters. The ending is a real shock, but it is a good shock AND it makes you want to read the next book really bad! It is the second book in the Percy Jackson series.It's Genre is Fantasy.
30-G is awesome! I just finished this book. It was the greatest book that I have ever read. It is called Word of Mouse. I would totally recommend it for you! My favorite part was when Ishia found his family!
Last week I started a book called "The Lost Hero" it is like the Percy Jackson series, except it is the series after called "Heroes of Olympus" I would highly recommend this if you are into action and just a long book with lots of details and is funny, they were at the Grand Canyon at the beginning of the book, then a monster attacked and they got whisked away to a camp called "Camp Half Blood" where they have a quest where the characters Jason,Piper and Leo go on a quest where they first have challenges fixing up a ride the next challenge they face is going to Quebec City for directions, then go to Chicago for a reload, then to San Fransisco. But spoiler, there dragon dies in the poverty and corruption of Detroit, I'm not going to give all the details but Hera the queen of gods is trapped. Jason and Leo become hypnotized and Piper tried to free them from the villain, also Leo has to reverse the curse that everyone is talking about, Jason needs to save Hera and Percy Jackson. I'm not going to give any more details because well if your hooked read it.
I started a new book called Clueless McGee. It is really funny. I definitely recommend it. The main character is so stupid. He does ridiculous things. He thinks that he is a ninja!
The book I am on now is called Violet Mackerels Possible Friend. The book I just finished is called The Orange Outlaw. It was AMAZING!I Also,I like the Violet Mackerel books. I am now in love with mystery books mostly A to Z . I am loving 30 g to. I love Mrs. P .third grade is awesome.
Today I finished a book called The Unlucky Lottery Winners of Classroom 13. It was really funny.It explained a class who had the most unlucky teacher. One day on the way to school her car broke down. She didn't have her phone the only thing she had was one dollar. She found a gas station the cashier said to use my phone you have to buy something. She bought a lottery ticket. She filled it out at school the kids helped her. She promised to share the money if she won. Class 13 had won! Then it talks about what each child dose with there money. The check was $28,000,000,000. They split it in 27. That is $1,037,037,037.04 for each child. Most of the kids spent all there money and it got destroyed like one kid put all the money in her pool. She is crazy! I loved the bluebonnet book.

I am reading Docker is off his Rocker. So far it's really funny. I think every one should try My weird school. I recommend Dr Brad has gone mad.
