Is it ever okay to do something bad in order to go something good?
We all know that Georgina is in a difficult situation. Please give your opinion. Do you think she is doing the right thing? Can you think of a better solution that Georgina could have tried?
I mean, She IS very desperate for some money so I guess she is doing what I would probably do. I think Georgina is doing what anybody would do. I can't blame her! So I think she is doing the right thing for HER cause. P.S. (Poor Carmella) On the other hand, Carmella is really paying the price and suffering! Also, I hope Willie isn't literally screeching his head off with being home sick. Wishing Willie the best.
ReplyDeleteI can understand that Georgina is having a difficult time living in a car and I have empathy for her. Two wrongs don't make a right. I wonder if Georgina is going to get the money after all. But if I was having her problem I would probably be doing the same thing. I think all of us would.
ReplyDeleteTwo wrongs do not make a right. Georgina is not handling the situation well. She is desperate to get money. She could ask her teacher to help her.
ReplyDeleteI think Georgina should just do community service not steal a dog. Carmella feels so sad! Why doesn't Georgina think about Wille? If I were her, I would be honest or sell the car.
ReplyDeleteGeorgina is not being honest. She should just tell her mom how she feels. On the other hand Carmeia and Willie are suffering! MOOKY IS CRAZY!!! She definitely did not do the right thing.
ReplyDeleteGeorgina is not being honest RIGHT NOW. In my opinion whether it is okay to do something bad for a good cause depends on how bad the bad thing is and what the cause is. If I were in Georgina's situation I might look for Mitzy, the dog on the reward sign she first saw.
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOO! she is not honest. Georgina makes lot of lies on top of lies. but she needs money. The more stirs the more it stinks.
ReplyDeleteNo because there are many different solutions than that. A few examples are baby sitting a dog. P.S it is a good idea but not the best.
ReplyDeleteI feel like Georgina IS doing the right thing(for her family.) But I don't think she THOUGHT before she did what is done. Like William H said,"Two wrongs don't make a right." And, poor Carmela! Willie is the ONLY THING that really matters!(Well, to her.)

Georgina is having a difficult time. If I were Georgina, I would still steal a dog and do what she did but when I went to Carmella I would ask her to make a bake sale and she would probably get a few bucks then I would ask her to do a lemonade stand then I think she would get more money. Then when she had a lot of money I would give Willy back. And I would get the money and give it to the mom and when she asked me where it came from I would tell her people gave it to me because they felt bad for us. Then we could add the money all together and get a house or an apartment.

ReplyDeleteWell, Carmela seems like a nice prison and Georgina stole Willy.But I guess in Georgina's case you can't blame her.I probably would have not stolen anything.
ReplyDelete2 wrongs don't make a Right, even though she has a tough situation she can just wait till they have 500 dollars, but she is also making 2 people mad Gerdie and Carmella. Gerdie because she did not want to give her the money to her in the first place, but she probably thinks she is making up an excuse to get money (because Carmella is broke) but it is also making Carmella mad because she lost her dog, Willy is sad and living in poor conditions, Georgina is wasting their barely even existent food for Willy, also her mom has to have thought some thing might be weird if Georgina walks to the car and BAM Georgina is like her 500 dollars. Two other things first the dog sign where in this mess is it, second does anybody else that she lives in a car. In conclusion thought it might sound bad it is 85 percent bad Carmella is mad Gerdie is mad Willy is sad and she mad 2 people mad. So, yes she is a liar but also she just benefited herself.
ReplyDeleteGeorgina is a good person but is doing a bad thing . If i was in her shoes for a day i would definitely tell mrs. WitmoreIthat she took Willy. I feel bad for Georgina because there are not many solutions for what she has gotten herself in to . I think she is honest sometimes and dishonest the other time . Georgina is a really suffering child and i think her mom should get her some therapy because they are suffering. I feel so so so so so so so so so so bad for Georgina and Mrs. Whitmore because she lost her dog and she did not even do anything wrong.

On the other hand, RIGHT NOW Carmella is probably crying on her couch hugging one of Willy's dog toys. I'm wondering where around Darby Mookie is? What is he doing? Is he fixing a tractor engine? I think Mookie is on to something with the poster of willy and willy tied up at the old house. I'm confused of how Georginas mom doesn't know about Willy. What if Georginas mom is trying to find willy? Georgina is not HONEST! Toby is CRAZY! Mookie is MYSTERIOUS! I've loved the book so far.
ReplyDeleteMy dad and I were going cliff jumping. It was really fun but this one time we were up really really really really HIGH and I saw a perfect spot to jump but my dad said that there was a rock there but I said no I do not think there is but my dad said yes there is. Then I went to go check and there was a big rock.
