I learned that the first people to arrive in North America formed many tribes. These tribes settled in six areas. They are the Southeast, Eastern Woodlands, Great Plains, Southwest, California Inter-mountain, and the Northwest Coast. I wonder how Native Americans celebrated weddings. I wonder if each tribe has their own wedding customs.
ReplyDeleteI learned that hundreds of people had to walked across a land bridge. I also learned that in the Great Plains have a buffalo hunt every year and that they have to walk very far. I wonder how many people are in each tribe. I cant wait to learn more.
ReplyDeleteI know that the Southeast tribe's grow corn bean's squash pumpkins sunflower and tobacco. The woodland's used antlers to make tool's. The Yurok tribe use red wood tree's to make canoes.
ReplyDeleteI learned that the Cherokee tribe were the first Native Americans to have a written language. I also learned that the Yurok people used redwood tree wood to build with. I wonder how the Chumash discovered that they could seal canoes with tar.

ReplyDeleteCherokee was the main tribe of the Southeast. How did the tribes get there names? I wonder how many buffalos they kill each year? The Kiowo people lived in teepee.
ReplyDeleteI learned some cool facts about Native Americans. The Cherokee have there own language. Some tribes had teepees. All tribes had chiefs.
ReplyDeleteI love learning about Native American tribe's. And i have a question what is a buffalo chip? i am in the Hopi tribe for studying in 3-P third grade.
ReplyDeleteI learned that men of the Great Planes disguise themselves as buffalo then make a signal and they drive the buffalo of a steep cliff. I had a text to self because there are 2 tribes at my camp, 1 is Tonk and the other is Kiawa and Kiawas are a group that are Native Americans. People of the South East have 2 types of houses, 1 for winter and the other 1 is for spring.
ReplyDeleteI can't what to start learning about Native Americans! Did you know the Iroquois had 5 tribes. The Cherokee grow corn, squash, pumpkins, sunflowers and tobacco. I Think this is violent but the Kiowas hunted buffalo.
ReplyDeleteI learned that Christopher Colombus thought he had settled in India! I wonder what sod is. One good question is: How did they celebrate weddings? What did they wear? Did they even make wedding cake? I probably will never get an answer.
ReplyDeleteI learned the first people to arrive in North America formed tribes they settled in 6 basic arias, South East, Eastern Woodlands, Great Plains, Southwest, California Inter-mountian and Northwest Coast. I also learned that buffalo can be used for many things and hole buffalo gets used. Another thing I learned is the Chinooks are the best traders. I wonder if in each tribe has a hospital or something like a hospital. I also wonder if there is a tribe flower, bird, food or something like that. I have enjoyed starting to learn about Native Americans.

ReplyDeleteGeorgina is going through a tough situation but what she's doing is not right I might of done that if I was poor but she might get her and Toby in big trouble then they will be even more poor and plus Toby's is going to give it away.
