  1. People in the Shawnee government had groups called bands. And each band has one war chief and one peace chief. Men in the Shawnee tribe mostly hunted and the women farmed. The men set traps for small animals while for the bigger ones they shot them with a musket or another kind of gun. The Shawnee also had a belief that the creator of their land and world was called, Our Grandmother. And each Shawnee had a animal name. if there was a new baby, they would have their animal name, then an adjective before it like, Dotted dog or Spotted horse. The Shawnee also moved A LOT. Nobody even knows where they lived their life the most! And the last thing I'm going to tell you is that they had religious ceremonies during the year.

  2. I am going to share amazing facts about the Shawnee. Every single baby that was born had 1 personal name and clan name. For example, black spotted horse as a name and clan name. People living together in the Shawnee tribe were called bands. Bands were separated into 5 small groups. Each group was in-charge of something very important like peace, war, religion, health, and leadership. Every village had a council house where they gathered for meetings or celebrations. If enemies attacked, they would go to the council house for protection.

  3. A group of families is called a clan. One clan has a animal name like deer or dog or hog. If there is a baby in a clan like in dog clan, its name will be brown dog or spotted dog.
