  1. So far I have learned that the Comanche hunt for buffalo. When they catch them they use every part of them for food and clothing and also to cover their teepees. her are a little bit of what they use the stuff for they use the tails to make whips and used the bones to make sewing needles and knives. And over the time they have become great horse back riders. When they are at battle and on a horse and they see a bullet or a arrow coming there way they sometimes lean to the side or even ride under the horse. Until the 1700's the Comanche were on foot until they started to get horses. They were nomadic that means they move place to place, the Comanche roam up and down the Great Plains following the buffalo. Their man food is buffalo. They have a hole at the top of there teepees to let the fire smoke
out.Themen do not wear shirts only in cold weather or going to battle, inn super cold weather they would wear robes made out of bison hides. Most men had pierced ears and the earrings were made out of shells.

  2. The Comanche were the Lords of the Planes. They hunted on foot until the 1700,s and then they got horses. They were very good horse men. They had no saddles and had to hold onto the sides or the belly of the horse.

The main thing they hunted were bison. They used all of it. They used the bones to make knitting tools. The hides were used for the clothes. On cold days men wore bison hide shirts.

Since they made their teepees out of sticks and bison hides, their homes were easy to move. They made their homes easy to move because they followed bison up and down The Great Plains. Since they were always on the move, they did not have much time for art and dance.

Some other fun facts about their teepees were (1) they put a hole at the top of the teepees so the smoke can go through (2) they made a fire pit in the teepee for cooking.

The girls cut their hair short. They eat wild berries, nuts, and they hunted elk, deer, buffalo, and some other things. The men only wore shirts when it was cold, and the men who are going to war wear shirts.
They only ate fowl if they had nothing left to eat.
They also used all parts of the buffalo.
    Women wore long deerskin dresses.
They didn't have time for art, and had very few dances.
Some of the Shoshone broke off and became part of the Comanche.
