Grateful Hearts!

During the movie we viewed at assembly, the teacher asked her students to write about the things for which they are thankful. Let's try it ourselves. I am sure that we will do a better job!

I'll start...

  1. I am grateful for so many people and things in my life! First of all, I am so thankful for each of my wonderful, funny and unique third grade students. They light up my days and make my job a total pleasure. Also, I am so grateful for my loving family. My sisters are two of my closest friends...what a bonus! Now, I will tell you about some of the smaller, yet interesting things that I am thankful for. I am happy to enjoy dark chocolate and coffee daily. I am thankful for my potted herb garden, cheese omelets and funny movies. I can't wait to read about both the big things and little things that make your lives great!

  17. I'm thankful for my brother Scotty, my sister Abby, my dad, and my mom. I'm grateful that I was born into a nice family, that can afford food, and I have good school, that has nice teachers. I am thankful for clothes, and that I'm not an orphan. I live in a safe place, and have an alarm. I'm never starving, and I'm in good hands. I'm happy that I have a house that is strong, and have nice neighbors that are caring. The things that I'm most grateful for are life, and god. Without god, we wouldn't even have life!!! And also I'm thankful for not looking the same as ofter people. Because if we all looked the same, life would be nothing but a mirror. Last but not least I'm thankful for my friends. They're supporting, caring, and they help you get through the hard things.
