Georgina has a plan to steal a dog for the reward money. She wants the reward money so that her mom can afford to rent an apartment again.
She plans to do something bad to do something good. Do you think that it is ever okay to do a bad thing so that you can do something good? If you were in Georgina's shoes, what would you do?
How do you think living in a car is hurting Georgina?
If I was living in a car I would not be comfortable with a friend following me to see where on earth I live. If one of my friends knew and I didn't want them to iI would be very upset.
ReplyDeleteIf I were georgina I would be sad that my dad left. I think living in a car is hard because you have to move place to place and you are not as clean as the other kids at your school because you have to wash up at gas stations. I also think it hard having a friend who is super nosey and one day follows you after school to where you live and her finding out you live in a car. I don't think it ok to steal a dog because you are braking the laws, but georgina is doing it for a good cause but I still don't think it ok to steal a dog and break the laws. I wonder how georgina will figure this out or if she will get caught.

If I lived in a car and a friend found out about it I would be miserable about it. I would kind of feel bad that really no buddy could come over . I bet if a lot of people found out that I lived in a car I would get picked on because of it. It would be uncomfortable that one of my best friends follow me to see where I live and I would not get to see my dad any more because he left are family. My mom had to work two jobs to pay for us and I would barley get to see her. I feel really bad for her.

I would feel horrible especially if my dad would leave us. And uncomfortable living in a car and eating un cooked mac and cheese. I would hate if my friend would follow me to my car/house my life would be miserable. If people new that I lived in a car I would get picked on and people would say" Lia lives in a car Lia lives in car". I would get so mad.

How I would feel if I lived in a car...
I would be mad because I would have no electronics, and if Charlie found out that I lived in a car, I would feel hopeless.
I would NOT be happy if I lived in a car. If I did live in a car, I would try to earn money to rent an apartment but not by stealing something. Like Georgina, I would be desperate to buy a house. But still, it isn't okay to steal. If I was Georgina, I would work, just like her mother. Then, I would get twice the money! I can't wait to find out what happens next in How to Steal a Dog.
ReplyDeleteIf I was in Georgians shoes I would feel scared, lonely, powerless, with no friends, and I would never tell anyone not even my best friend. I would want friends but I cant invite anyone over because they would figure out that I lived in a car and they might tell a friend and keep spreading it and spreading it and I would hide in the corner each and every DAY I love my life my friends my FAMILY!!!!!! ReplyDeleteI would steal a dog if it was in that situation . I would not tolerate living in a car. I would do anything to not live in a car. I would not like to get clean in a fast food place .If you don't take chances nothing get's done.I would be scared if people find out.I would do that to change my life. It would be amazing if it did worked.
ReplyDeleteIf I lived in a car I would be embarrassed. I would NOT want to be dirty and wash up in a gas station. That would be gross. I would also be embarrassed that I would have dirty clothes and bad shoes. I think Georgina's idea about stealing a dog is good and bad. I would feel scared and nerves about her plan. I would also feel a little faith in living in the apartment. Why did their dad leave? I would be sooooooooooooo sad, angry and frustrated if my dad left. especially if he took must of the money. I hope Georgina's friend helps her out. And is respectful of Georgina's life. I hope Georgina's plan will work out and she will live in an apartment. And her life will be back to normal.
ReplyDeleteIf I were in Georgina's shoes, I would be shocked that my dad would just leave like that! To think all he left was a mayonnaise jar with a wad of cash barely filling it up! That must have been very hard for Georgina to go through. Luanne is understanding, but has a way of getting too the bottom of things. Just like Claire!

It would be hard living with a family of 4 without a dad, a working - late Mom, And two whining siblings! The the thought is making my is water! There goes a salty tear down my rosie red cheek. ReplyDeleteGeorgina is in a though situation. She needs to think about other people over herself but there are other people (her brother and mother) have to deal with it also. If I were in her situation I would try to get a job or ask for a fundraiser to help. I think stealing a dog and giving it back is foolish!

And having my best friend follow me to the car and learn that I slept there without knowing that she followed me would make me feel guilty, mad, and embarrassed at the same time.
And the fact that would shock me the most would be that my dad left my family, and left nothing but a few coins, and a couple of wadded up dollar bills!!! Not even as much money as we needed to stay in the apartment! Now my mom would be working two jobs to get the money we needed to buy an apartment again. And the one biggest clue they something happened to me was that I had to wear dirty clothes again and again, and I lost my hairbrush when we got kicked out.
